At the age of 75, I can say with complete honesty that had there been UA-cam, Facebook, Instagram, etc. when I was growing up that provided a platform for women like you to share their experiences, my life would have been completely different. It's been a good life, but I know that had I been less fearful, it could have been a great one. Thank you so very, very much for being an inspiration to thousands of young women to follow there hearts and to live fearlessly and most importantly to never settle for how others believe they should live. Bless you, Hannah. :-)

Why my parents chose, in my mind at least, the proper way to spell our first and middle names is because they couldn't afford an 'h' or an 'e' on my birth certificate. Har har.

Exactly, I really cringe when people ask so many questions over and over... that first of all have been answered by her before. And second, she is allowed to change her mind, multiple times, if she wants to. And third... who cares where she goes to the bathroom and such things? I honestly just enjoyed hearing parts of this video, not because Hannah didn't do a good job, but because of all the annoying questions that are being asked a million times.

@Charisma Girl And you're replying to a comment I made a MONTH ago that is literally just quoting something stupid she said that I related to. Had nothing to do with her sex life.
This is her channel, and if she so chooses to talk about it, cool. People are people, they're gonna be weird, she can easily delete comments or even just turn comments completely off if it gets that bad for her.
Personally, I just skimmed through that part and didn't really pay that close attention because I don't care. She's a consenting adult who, I'm gonna go on a limb and assume, is involved with other consenting adults. They can do whatever the fuck they want, it's not my business to tell them what to do.
Don't like, don't watch. It's that easy. Skip over the parts where she discusses it/brings it up in passing, or just don't watch her videos full stop. This is her channel, and she's fully in control of what she posts. She can talk as much or as little about personal matters as she sees fit. Does not matter what, you, or I, or anyone else here think, do, or say.
TL;DR: This is a channel that is run by a grown woman who has the right to talk about whatever she wants, and if what she chooses to talk about in videos makes you upset, it is YOUR responsibility to skip over it or click off the video (leave a dislike if it's that big a deal to you) IT IS NOT HER RESPONSIBILITY TO COMFORT OR CATER TO YOU.

    • @quinnamass9710
      @quinnamass9710 3 роки тому

@Charisma Girl You're the one making a big deal about this, dude. She was just uploading a video answering questions people had for her. If others in the comments are being pervs (which I haven't seen but then again this is probably the longest I've spent in a UA-cam comment section since I was a literal teenager)
You zeroed in on my comment that had nothing to do with her sex life, and made it about her sex life. That's kinda skeevy in and of itself. You're the one here hyperfixated on what she does in the bedroom, I just like watching videos of her renovating her house and telling funny stories.
Was the okay boomer comment professional? Nah, but, have you stopped to consider at any point in this string of comments, this is a comment section on a video floating around in the void we call the internet, and that I don't have to be up in arms and ready to professionally debate a creeper on said internet at a drop of a hat? That maybe I'm just enjoying my day off and happened to for whatever reason get zeroed in on by a weirdo because of a comment I made a month ago and HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT YOU'RE COMPLAINING ABOUT? I literally would have completely forgotten about this one singular comment had it not been for you replying and being a weirdo.
Get your head out of the gutter, she posted this video to talk a bit more about herself as a human person to a couple thousand people who (typically) are interested in her as a human person, NOT for the sake of two idiots to duke it out on their keyboards.

You inspire me to be more "brave" like you. I grew up in a not so loving situation. It has caused me so much fear in my heart. I used to be adventurous and outgoing like you as a child but after some things happened to me it changed me. After loosing my oldest brother it became apparent that the trauma was too much for me (I was 20 I am 24 now). I started having panic attacks constantly not being able to leave my home in fear something awful would happen to me or someone I loved. It's not a rational thing to be fearful of but I am. I hide in my room alot I spend most days hiding from the world alone here even before covid. It's been a really bad couple of years even before 2020. Seeing you talk about bravery in a way that seems like steps in your life and how time slowly made you the person you are now truly gives me so much hope where I thought there wasn't any. Maybe instead of being so angry with myself for being so scared of everything and so weird. It gives me some sort of relief. Like the pressure I have on myself to become "better" from my mental illness or "normal" has been lessened. Maybe if I just give myself time I will be okay.... I feel like your influence has really push me in the right direction... I'm sorry, I know that is probably an awkward thing to say to someone but it is true.... I went on an adventure outside with my dog for the first time in a year yesterday and today after watching you concur your panty wall. I thought if you can randomly buy a cabin and build a pantry I can go on a walk outside even if I am scared. I took pictures when I climbed up top a rock on a mountain so I can start painting again. I am going to try to not overthink everything as much and just let things happen (easier said then done but I will try.). Thank you so much for you wonderful content and just being yourself. I am incredibly grateful that I found your channel. I know it may be weird but I look up to you. I feel like if you can do all these awesome things now I can do my own awesome things in my own way. I may not buy a van to live in but I can start taking steps in life that scare me like you.... sorry for such a long comment that I am not sure you will read but I just wanted you to know what a positive impact you have had on me in such a hard time in my life. You are my strong woman heroine and inspiration! I hope you are doing well and stay safe out there! Keep up your content and awesomeness. I will be here for all your videos! 💖💖💖💖

I also live in Northern Minnesota where we regularly see 40 below temps and 60 below with windchill. I leave a faucet cracked to a slow steady stream and (knock on wood) have not had my pipes freeze in my 50 years. Wood burning stove only in the cabin, heat tape on pipes, leave the cabinets with pipes open. Set an alarm to reload the stove. There are temperature devices that will alarm if the interior of your cabin falls below your preset temp. Septic is a whole different story so please keep that in mind when you consider winterizing your cabin if you ever choose to go that route. No one wants a frozen septic or busted septic pipe. Placing foam insulation boards (pink, about 2" thick) on the interior walls and floor (interior to an exterior/outside wall) helps quite a bit. Definitely not pretty but since you made the cabinet to hide your water heater, you wouldn't see the foam. Just make sure you winterize your cabin before you leave it you'll come back to a mess. (Drain water heater, pipes, etc.) You'll figure it out, Hannah, you're a smart cookie! Enjoyed the Q &A! Stay warm and be well!

I've used a couple of come-a-longs instead of a tractor too. A tractor would have been easier, especiallyby myself, but that was a long long ways away into Alaska. No tractors for many miles, just a plane, and a boat. If you use some poles wider than the new hole like they are rollers, like rolling on parallel rolling pins, just starting a new one every foot or so, you can role/drag it over the new hole with less effort and it will prevent it from snagging on the new hole. Then a jack to get the poles out.

My Gran had one of those until she eventually got a chemical loo to keep in one place in the 1970's. Felt like luxury!! Never did get mains plumbing bar one cold tap with a soak-away in the kitchen ......unfortunately I was never able to afford to get it done for her but she was very robust and lived to the grand age of 97. I stumbled across your "I'm moving into a cabin alone" video accidently a week ago and haven't been able to stop watching. Love your content. So authentic. Makes me feel like I do after yoga: relaxed, happy. Thank you for being you and sharing with the world. It's a lot of fun watching you learn and conquer, be silly and be real.

Start building up a good pantry and keep some supplies stuck back for times when you can't get out due to weather. Then for pipes get insulation for pipes. It looks like black pool noodles. They are easy to use. Keep 2 weeks or more groceries in pantry for emergencies. Soup pancake mix. Easy to make items. Also put together a small tote box with items you would need if you get sick. And include Sprite and Gatorade or Powerade. These are also items that can be stored away.

I needed the message towards the end; thank you. I’ve made a few “crazy” decisions in my life, but lately I’ve felt anxious and too destabilized to trust my intuition. Taking a leap of faith does require a certain amount of bravery/trust. But maybe I just need to stop thinking about it so much and just say yes to the next opportunity.
Also I was content with the running around singing content, but this was enjoyable. I like the way you explain things. I think it would benefit a lot of people if you talked about open relationships, because there’s generally so much confusion and misconception surrounding the topic.

21:25 bravery isn't not being scared, it's doing things even if you are scared, so by that definition you ARE brave, you just have learned to push yourself just slightly past your comfort zone... being brave in small bites and it gradually had built into this.

Create a pantry in the other cabin, the cold will keep everything mostly fresh. And there’s also these portable washer and dryer machines on Amazon for around $100. And Amazon or Walmart also sell oil heaters that just take Kerosene, with no electricity needed. All this would probably be around the same cost of gas traveling for the winter. Keep goin girl 💕💅🏾
