My nephew always laughs when I check the oil in the vehicles or the John Deere riding mower and I tell him that thing is making oil. Your right, its kind of catchy. Great video. Take care and God bless. Steve in Oklahoma
its nice to hear you talk fondly of your dad.i lost my dad 11 years ago and he drove 18 wheelers and operated heavy machinery all his life,he was a hard working man and i miss him so much but i too talk fondly of him.
Nice flock of Cattle Egrets flying over the cattle! nice shot. Really. We used to have a flock in our back and side property but more houses move in and they fly over to more open land. I assume the hitch hiker did a Hip Hop into the truck!
Love watching these Guys , it just proves that in warm climates these old machines never ages . Thank you for sharing I noticed the Snake hidden away , Dont you guys ever worry about these things using these old Excavotors as their home . You never seem to show concern about your safety . Take Care !!
You two work good together and I'm glad you carried those batteries this time 🤣🤣🤣(I'm joking)!! I love watching y'all pal around and work!! God Bless y'all and stay safe!!!!
My dad had 2 farm dozers, and any time he changed the oil in something, he would pour it all over the tracks, and he never replaced a piece of undercarriage on either one of them. I really think that helped a lot
Ever tried putting a wrench on the nut on the front of the harmonic balancer and see if the motor is locked up? I've saw Derek on Vice Grip Garage do that a few times and it seems to really work..
I'd love to be able to do some will it start videos with y'all, the cutting up & good time y'all have reminds me of working with my Pops in his truck shop.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Congratulations you got it running and quickly did it start. Wow. Seems to run well. Wiley and Hank you did good. Seems once it was grounded good it starts. Good job guys. Nice job. Thanks for everything. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
Hank whilly you did great again thank you for sharing and your time was really great never miss a video and can't wait for next video Hank get some better jokes whilly answers are better then jokes more practice on jokes
Note, When you connected that outside battery to the circuit with a dead battery already in the circuit, the dead battery will draw the circuit down. It may have worked if you had disconnected the dead one first. It is as if you just walked up to it and cobbled the fresh battery right to the dead battery. Part of the power is going to be trying to charge up the dead battery at the same time you are trying to use its power to turn the starter.
I need an explanation. That exhaust pipe is aimed to ensure that ALL the exhaust gases go UNDER the canopy, ensuring that the operator gets every bit shot directly into his lungs. Who thought that was a good idea?? I was as surprised as y’all when she started right up. Nice little video. 🥸👍👀💥💨❗️✅
How is it you get lucky with the injection pump still working on these tractors? When my dad died about 1.5 years ago, he left me a 1968 Case 580Ck. Prior to his death, he wanted so badly to get it running. $850.00 later I find that the injection pump was needing rebuilt. Once I got that done, trying to fire it the first time the Delco Remy starter croaked. It has been one thing after another, and we need to get this thing out of there so the property can be sold, the tractor will not be sold I want to restore it.
Son you never forget when you’re a real truck driver most newer trucks have automatic transmission’s in them an I’ve drove them for years but I still know how to shift an 18 speed. It’s just one of those things.
I have one of my brothers that drove for Publix for about 20 years, I drove OTR and local LTL for over 3 million miles, I told my brother I had more miles in reverse than he had driving!!!
hey hank great video i was thinking that you 2 guys should make a video with you and wiley sitting around telling us your backgrounds and how you me i think that would be interesting to hear
14:15 or so, talking about how hardly ever diesel ever smells bad as that does.. I'm curious if it ended up getting algae or some other organic growth in there or water or something else.. I mean, I've come across diesel that's been sitting 30 years and it smells less strong, but sure still works just fine. Interesting.
That Engine sounds brand new. Under 4000 hours is just broke in for a John Deere :-) C&C equipment [buds with Dirt Perfect and Diesel Creek, Letsdig18] they get in those new faces for the blades [maybe army parts].
WOW that was too easy 😯IN this video HANK ' forgets' how check the trans oil and to put it in gear . Manwel is not happy . You should allways consult the operators MANUAL befor opreating machinery. Great video thanks
Hello Hank, that's a nice looking dually you have,do I still have your white pickup or not & I love the color because black is my favorite color, get a ballpean hammer & knock on the starter to see if anyone is at home or not & you should've put the can back over the exhaust so no water or anything will get in the engine
HANK & WILY THE MODERN-DAY DYNAMIC DEWO. YOU GUYS GOT-ER GOIN. BUT, YOU FORGOT TO POP A WHEELIE... WELL, MAYBE NEXT TIME. KEEP PUSHIN' ON GUYS... PEACE...
I also drive for yellow. I was one of the 30,000 employees who lost his job that day. I worked for USF Holland, and Yellow bought them out. So technically, I was Holland but still part of yellow. My dad also was with yellow. Had two years left till retirement, and they shut down. And yes it was the management that screwed all of us over and shut it down.

Yeah he was a cool cat like your dad. Stinks but at least we have the memories 👍
The dang smokestack is pointed exactly at the operator😮 Gosh that runs beautiful tho😊
That's for winter time operations!
I didn't expect it to start like it did, well done guys.
Good job guys. Hope y'all remembered to put the can back on the exhaust.

Nice flock of Cattle Egrets flying over the cattle! nice shot. Really. We used to have a flock in our back and side property but more houses move in and they fly over to more open land. I assume the hitch hiker did a Hip Hop into the truck!

Hey Hank I’m glad to see you carrying them batteries 😂
So now you know why he turned the truck around.
Didn't expect that to just crank up me either we all three set back and looked lol 😂 fantastic job unbelievable that happen loved ❤😊

Hank on 12v starters the ground hooks to the frame, on 24v starters the ground hooks up on the solenoid of the starter

Boy that is some home-cobbling welding on that font blade, I guess some people ain't too proud...😉
Great job 👏
Good video
Great job and God bless y'all
Thank you
It's funny how the exhaust points directly at the operator
Sounds good Hank
Beautiful arial intro to video, Hank.
The old man was right, we have bad roads in Pa. I just had to replace all 4 rims on my car. They all were bent from pot holes in the roads.
Really in Detroit wed just drive on em. Riding rims it's fun on a bicycle helps give balance when drinking
Good luck with your record deal Hank

Awesome, will it start Hank and Wiley . Hank, nice battery carrying skills👍
Try grounding to the alternator bracket or it's case 😊
Somebody must have loved smelling smoke heck the muffler pipe is pointing right at the driver
In order to get a good ground you have to scrape crust or paint off back toetal
Love watching the videos and except Hanks Really Really bad jokes 😂😂😂 they are always fun to watch you two work
They cut those holes in those tracks to keep them from sucking down in the mud ive seen it done a few times never thought about that but it does work
How about starting the bomb loader directly behind the dozer in the overhang? I recognize it as I have one.
My cousin cranked it. Runs great. Traded it to him for a running 5.3 LS. Sold the Dozer. Hank and Wiley are awesome.

If you ground to the track the got to travel through the track link's and through the bearings to the startermoter
they have a shot for that hunk of burning love.
Great will it start video Hank and Wily 👊👊
Runs smooth

Hank, yes I noticed you were carying the battery, but didn't Wiley train you as to what that handle on the top is for? 🤣🤣
With the power of Wiley, you guys can start anything

Did you put the can back over the exhaust when you were done?
That piece that you're you were messing with on the air filter is called an air filter minder it lets you know when the air filter needs to be changed
