Which reason do you prefer as to why Batman retires? Also, what do you think of Keaton almost becoming the predominant Batman in the DC Universe? Let me know in the comments!
I think he retired when something went wrong on a mission and someone got killed and he felt bad about that. And personally I would have loved to see Michael Keaton be back as Batman again after the flash, and I blame James Gunn and Warner bros for screwing up this film.
I like the reason for retiring that Gotham became safe, he wasn't needed anymore. I wish we could of seen Keaton in the upcoming Aquaman two and I really wanted to see the Batgirl movie with him in it as well.
Would have been interesting to see this version of Batman interact with Aquaman! Oh well 😭. And agree everything else you said. I look forward to tackling the Batgirl film soon and telling that story!
In the series of 1995 (not sure about the year) there is the episode in which Nightwing tells the New Robin (Tim Drake) why he stopped being Robin a few months ago... Batman tracks down a criminal but the guy gets into his flat with his wife and little boy playing... Batman breaks in and gets him, menacing him in front of them, Robin tries stop him "Batman, no ! His family..." Batman: he talks and we leave !! You see the boy crying 😢"Daddy..." Robin leaves "you continue without me if it's that way..." Batman finally goes out after without arming the guy... It is not the same but yet looks party similar... If only they had kept Michael KEATON... I really enjoyed seeing him back... My greatest respect for the Batman I discovered when I was seven... I am 40 now... Regards from France Patrick
Oh yeah, Timm Burton was the ultimate world building creator. Fans were NOT down for Batman Beyond but episode 1 was so dark, so heavy, it instantly became a favorite.
I prefer the second reason. Keatons Bruce always gave off the vibe that he was that unhinged he would dress up as a bat to beat the shit out of people. And his Batman we've seen straight up strap bombs to people and threw them into sewers 😂 I can't believe they screwed up Keaton returning so badly. That has to be it from him where playing Batman is concerned. Probably took him a long time to want to come back to the character and they remove him from all future projects 😢 what could have been...
Keaton's Batman had some SAVAGE moments. There's plenty of moments where Batman's kills are indirect, but in the case you're referring to, it absolutely was direct 😂😂.
It sucks that they cut those secne i would have like seeing MK as batman also i hope they keep sasha as super girl she did a great job i would like know more about her story
I will have liked if was the Burton and Reeves Universe being explore and with also having Batman Beyond i will have being good with that idea but having Keaton Batman being in the DCEU and taking out Affleck to mix is universe with that DCEU was cringe idea.
I’ll be making videos on the almost made Batman Beyond film! Definitely wish that world was explored more. Good news though, a new comic story that will be canon to the story has been confirmed 👀
I like the film reason better. Because it shows that Bruce was successful in what he was doing as Batman and his Wayne foundation. The reason why i don't like the second reason.Because it is nothing but a retelling of his origin story just with a new skin on it. Making Batman the unintentional bad guy. I'm glad cooler heads prevail and override that second reason. This is why the director cannot be given total control. The studio made the right call on this one. Because it kept Batman as the hero who came back to fight one last time for something else and not trying to correct his past failure. As much as I did not like this movie. I did like the Michael Keaton Batman part in this movie. Because of the back story . It made me interested and wanted to see how he made Gotham City one of the safest.
@@deanolewis3962 Yes it is, although who knows if that scene would have made that particular cut. I have a video coming out where both alternate endings are animated in this style and explained, so stay tuned! Personally, I would have LOVED to see that. Two Batmans in the same universe? YES!
Here's what I don't understand Aries. DC hyped up The Flash as a film that would setup the new DC universe and change everything. Instead, it does none of that. Flash lands in the Schumacher's Batman Forever universe!? Or a variation of it? That doesn't setup the new DC universe! There is zero connection!
@MovieTalkNow I believe this is the result of. People who fore one thing. Are not into comics, and never did any long time research. Before writing the superhero action movies. While being instructed by the producer. And including the producer. To get engrossed in the comics books. So they can see through experiencing. What long term comicbook readers. Actually experience themselves then secondly. Due to all of the bad writing in comic books. As well as all of the characters. Being redesigned around the woke agenda. Over the past two decades. Remember how L.O.B.O. got feminized! Causing a lot of American comic book readers. To turn to Anime.

The movie would have been so much better if it ended with showing the audience Keaton’s Batman is alive and survived the awful time traveling ordeal.

I like Batman Beyond's reason better and that him getting a replacement and continuing because he couldn't stop.

100% agree.
As far as the retirement goes, which reason do you prefer?

Hello
Hi Deano! Always appreciate your support, enjoy the new video!
Yes m8. Was this ending also where Ben Affleck Batman is trapped in another universe, and he tells Barry to help him?
