I have wonderful memories walking on South Padre Island between 1969 and 1971. Our school did a 20-mile walkathon to raise money. And my mother would take a bunch of kids to Padre Island many many weekends. ❤️

Bro!!! Love the ARB Awning Room. I have 2 on my FWC, one on each side. I use on side for cooking/hangout room and the other is the bathroom/2nd bedroom. As you know they are easy to setup and provide extra space, and do well in most elements. I enjoy your content and I think this new channel is what I really watch your content on. I do have a question or request. It’s been a while since you have should us what you take when you go out or how you pack and what you pack with. I have seen some new stuff, so in one of your upcoming episodes can you give us a refresh of what you take out and how you pack it? Thanks Bro!!!

You’ll have to let us know how your awning does in rain. It doesn’t look like there’s much of a runoff from the top and I’m wondering if the water would pool in the middle on the top.
Also, I would totally camp in that enclosed area 😊. Loved the video! I watch a lot of overlanding videos and yours is great! Keep going!

Thanks Sarah🙏🏼 I’ve camped in rain with this awning and it definitely pools on top. I do set the awning at an angle so it can spill over to the side but you still have to push out the water. I left it like that one night and in the morning it was still standing with a big puddle of water.

Thanks for the support Orlando! I have gotten this comment before and the reason is mostly that I dont fish . I have only gone fishing a few times with my uncle but its something I dont have an interest to. Maybe if I wasnt filming while camping would I give fishing a try.
