Czesc Dariusz. I can't find an Armani Privé worth investing in although I might wear a couple of them if gifted 🙂 Very intriguing discussion about sandalwood. My neighbour from Eastern Europe had all her bedroom furniture made of sculpted sandalwood. I don't know how old it was, it must have been imported eons ago, but its fragrance still permeated the entire house. The closest aroma I could find is a Juliette Has a Gun creation by Romano Ricci (who else) called Sunny Side Up. It is a mikly creamy sandalwood powdered with a vetiver center and a faint whiff of fresh (not sugary) coconut. Sunshine in a bottle.
Lovely watch as always and only know Happy and haven’t had it in years , maybe I need to buy it again as it is supporting such a good cause . Advance congratulations on your new family addition xx ❤
I own "24 rue de l'Université" from YSL Vestiaire collection. This fragrance was created by Fabrice Pellerin too. I smelled Santal Dan Sha yesterday without knowing the nez behind it and I straight away recognized the same DNA. Funnily at times, I layer 24 rue de l'Université with YSL Nu, the 2011 version, which contains very prominent cardamon notes. I get something very similar to Santal Dan Sha. Overall I really enjoyed Santal Dan Sha.
Not sure whether anyone answered your question (I can't see the live chat replay for some reason), but here is what Selfridges' website says about the reference to dān shā in the Armani fragrance's name: "Named after the cinnabar-toned shade of sandalwood named dān shā..."
Can we get a deep dive on your favorites from Piguet? I want to try more from the brand but I don’t know what to go for other than maybe fracas or bandit. I bought L’Entier and found it to be so underwhelming. A sweet vanillic lotion with the faintest touches of aquatics and “Laotian Oud.” Glad to hear about these two!
I’m perhaps a soul made of similar stuff as yours, because my wife would be hysterical with laughter if I appeared with Happy for Men in hand. Thank you for the video.
Great video Mr. P I look forward to rejoining the lives soon, I’ve missed so many! (Formerly DB70) 😊 Question if I may. Do you intend to try any of Christopher Chong’s new offerings from Thameen? Thanks, and best wishes
Hi Dave, How have you been? I've tried the first two new ones, and I don't have anything terribly interesting or insightful to say about them. I found them pleasant and forgettable.

Zazen is "sitting meditation" in Japanese, cf ZAbuton-sitting cushion, or seiZA, the formal Japansese sitting position. Hope I don't come across as a know it all-just love languages. =)
I’m floored at how subjective fragrance is. When I smell Zazen, I only smell creamy almonds and rice. I classify this as a gourmand. It’s a powdery scent to my nose. 😅😅😅
Thanks for watching. Each time I've worn it again, I keep getting more and more of the 'starchy' connection between the apple, the rice and the tonka bean (which smells a lot like almond).
Thank you so much for the info re Emilia Clarke's charity. I worked with homeless, low-income and no-income people for 17 1/2 years, and brain injuries are rife in that population.

That's praise indeed for the Juliette. Thanks for watching.
That green sweater looks gorgeous!
Thanks very much.

Ah, I love it when connections like that are made.
Thanks for watching.

Ah, brilliant. Thank you.
I wore the death out of happy for men! As a girly in my 20s. Loved it.
Good to know.
Thanks very much for watching.

Great idea, Dhruba. Thank you.

Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching, John. I feel maybe both of us should have a Happy day.
Great video Mr. P

Re: Cravache,
If you consider the other possible uses for a riding crop, the marketing brief seems to know precisely what it sounds like….
I'm sure I have no idea what you mean.
Thanks for watching.
Hello Mr.P, maybe I missed it but have you already tried the newest Andy Tauer, Golestan?

@@Persolaise Thank you!

Gosh, that's so sad.
Thanks for watching.
The mint in vintage Cravache was stomach churning for me
Oh, was it quite minty?
The best armani prive is the harrods exclusive one called cuir majeste its amazing but pretty much impossible to get now its been discontinued
That’s a shame - I never got a chance to try it.
Thanks for watching.
Please help me understand Bandit. All I get is old cigarette butts from that perfume.
Well, maybe it just doesn’t resonate with you. That needn’t be a problem.
I get leather and dry herbs and carnation and heat and bared claws.
Aww, thanks Persolaise. 😊
Hated the Armani. It's not creamy, it's watery and harsh with a saliva undertone
Oh dear - not sure I picked up on that myself. But thanks for writing.
Cravache is kind of whip for horse
Thank you very much.
Really dislike Clinique Happy. Nineties fresh citrusy aquatic boring scent. If Clinique, I rather go for Aromatics Elixir. Greetings from Germany!
A colleague of mine fills the office rooms with that scent in the summer months and I find it offensive in its boredom.
Well, yes, I’d recommend AE over Happy any day.
