I’m a bit late for the party 😅 sandalwood is my secret weapon when I need calmness and sense of grounding. My first sandalwood fragrance was Tam Dao from Diptyque. I treasure Santal Blush Tom Ford (earlier batches) it is a real beauty, Sacred Wood by Kilian (also earlier batches) and Santal Majuscule Serge Lutens. I wander how would Santal Dan Sha smell on my skin. Santal Complet is such a comfort in a bottle. I’m looking for the older bottle, the one with Eau de parfum instead just Parfum, such a difference in performance.

@@anitabotha3398 I don’t have Sellier, but in general, yes, it happens quite a lot to find similar perfumes. For example yesterday I visited a perfume shop and was excited to try Patiala from Thameen, but it smelled sooo similar to Vanille Rouge from Atelier Versace (which I have). I was also able to test Tygar from Bvlgari and it smells almost exactly as Vibrato from Sospiro. I don’t know how that happens… They should not be dupes, all of them are so expensive 😂
Really enjoyed your video 🩷 I'm now curious about Armani's sandalwood, because I resonate with a lot of fragrances in Armani Privé line. The bottle is so beautiful to look at as well... So will try to hunt down at least a sample to try it on my skin! To answer your question - not a love, but a strong like, when it comes to sandalwood - Loewe 001 edp & This is us Zadig & Voltaire; Sensous by Estee Lauder & Radio Bombay by DS&Durga 🩷

Yes, the bottle looks wonderful and I found it at a very good price at Copenhagen Airport, similar to the normal designer prices. If you don’t find it, maybe I can send you a sample by post to Spain? 😄 PS: I also resonate with so many from their line, I have to control myself to leave room for other perfume houses 😅

Those kind of scents calm my nerves, I guess.. I totally forgot another favorite sandalwood- Samsara by Guerlain edt (in the bee bottle), but it does something to my brain, that I zone out & fall into some kind of a meditative state (I wear it on Sundays mostly). You know what - why not, we could become like "pen pals" but with samples instead of long handwritten letters 😃 We could partly exchange our perfume collection's via small samples, sounds like fun ! I just don't know about the " dangerous goods " restrictions, but we are in Europe, so... Probably we can get away with breaking some minor rules 😆 packaged in small discreet envelopes...
