So stoked to see this one! As a garbage man and Tonka restorer I was thrilled to find one, as well as a Structo. I bought a Dennis Sullivan frame and the pieces to make a custom 68-72 Dodge style cab with a Turbine rear body this winter.
Nice love the restoration on this buddy L sanitation. Truck brings back memories as a kid playing with buddy L trucks and Tonka truck beautiful work 👍👍
I have an old 1970s era plastic G.I. Joe jeep, from my childhood, that is pretty busted up. Is it possible to weld plastic together so that it looks halfway decent, or should I just toss it?
Very good point Tray Chester. Also, those cab door stickers should be "a bit" smaller. Even-so, this is an immaculate restoration. One to be proud of. Regards, Ben

Merhaba Usman, Buddy-L rarely...if ever...fitted this scale of their models with interiors. Whereas, interiors were common in equal scale TONKA models. Never-the-less, it would be interesting to see a Buddy-L with an interior. Best regards, Ben
Nope, It's a Buddy-L....a big competitor of TONKA. I had both brands as a young boy & I appreciated them equally. They were always my favorite toys from Santa. Best regards, Ben
Looking at that wasps nest and we're amazed at what creatures with little more than a few transistors for a brain can accomplish - and how utterly stupid our ruling class is in comparison... Nice job on the truck-a-saurus...
This truck should've been specified by year; such as like 1964, even though this past wasn't peachy. 1964 was year one of the post President Kennedy assassination. It's about what took place in the same year.😒
Nice work restoring The garbage truck we need more to clean up the streets around here 👍
what good toys children had before.
I was
One of those kids with buddy L. And Tonka strong all day fun I had a lot of construction vehicles and sanitation trucks all fun

How do you like his products? I've been eyeing his low boys and utitility beds but just haven't pulled the trigger.
@@joe_diy very nice quality. I bought two of those frames, one so I could build a 68-72 cabbed pumper. The fit was perfect. Great service too.
Hey Joe
Very nice truck🙂
Probably the most stylish garbage truck I have ever seen
Beautiful restoration!
A good looking garbage truck. Love the choice of colors. Perfect! Carol from California

Why the door stickers too big?
Haven't seen you in a while! This beauty looks brand new thanks to you! Love your 3-d printer. If you don't have it, make it!

I have a few of those old bloody hell's laying around, just haven't decided what to do with them yet. Good luck and god bless.

Super glue works miracles! They do have plastic welding kits but the end product isn't pretty.
It was great, Joe. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Only thing I see off are the decals. Other than that, it came out nice
Congratulations You Made To Php112,000 Subscribed On UA-cam Channel It Made Php1M.
Very beautiful restoration buddy, as always, like 👍
The cab door stickers need to be re-applied in better spots. Other than that, a fantastic toy resurrection!
Very good point Tray Chester.
Also, those cab door stickers should be "a bit" smaller.
Even-so, this is an immaculate restoration. One to be proud of.

Love it

How long does this process take start to finish?
Nice Work, but you have forgotten one Knop on the Truck 😉
Great job. Is the 3d print file available for those white wall tires? Replacements are hard to find.
Sorry but they are not at this time.
Good to see another one of your videos. I'll ask again. Have you ever considered selling the finished product on line?

This is the first time I've seen a truck rusted more on the inside than on the outside.
Man, put this piece of hive in a resin ball. Just like the mosquito in Jurassic Park.
Nice but you ought to fit seats and stearing for a complete restoration.

I would have painted it black behind the front grille opening.
he needs to do a moving truck restoration but instead of original reprint stickers i want him to put his logo on it.
Do you make parts or find them? I have a buddy l country squire id like to restore. Thanks
Guessing thats a tonka?

L rusty was it this what was applying pressure on Boris? He wasnt malicious, yeah it goes higher
The rear door for garbage isnt secured from falling out.
Looking at that wasps nest and we're amazed at what creatures with little more than a few transistors for a brain can accomplish - and how utterly stupid our ruling class is in comparison...
Nice job on the truck-a-saurus...
Must be the Virgo in me, but the placement of the decal at the end over the fender bugs the heck out of me.
Could I have it
🆒
No squirrel cage, that must be a Dodge 'cause it's got a Super Bee drive train!
This model has no door indications 🧐
🌍🇵🇱👍🍀
Hi
Bring him down then Ile run then and tell people the full story Ile come back from retirement
Funileiro porco nem tirou o ferrugem das peças, muito porca essa restaurações

With all that rusty metal, sharp edges and no gloves I hope your tetanus shots are up to date!
