My dad worked in the paint shop at Chrysler, when I was a kid I would take my matchbox and hot wheels cars apart and my dad would take the bodies to work with him and paint them at the plant for me, such great memories
This vid is the first one I've watched as it was released. I've been working through your back catalogue. I'd recommend it to anyone. My mistake was to work backwards in time. It gave the impression that your technique was getting poorer... So halfway through I stopped, went back to the first video, and moved forward in time... much more satisfying watching you improve. Thanks for all the pleasure your vids have given me.
This reminded me of my grandsons broken toys ,,,we owned a towing company back when he was small ,,,my son went to clean his room ,in a box was tires, doors, rims , windshields ,all kinds of parts ( broken stuff ) my son went to throw them away ,,my grandson crying your throwing away my scrap yard ,,,,,love your videos
Your big hook and ladder firer truck is just like the one my younger brother had while we were growing up. I’d love to see you bring that one back to new. 👍
I also missed the sheep! If all of the sheep were on vacation, Chip Channel at least owes us vacation photos of the sheep at the beach, etc ! Edit: 36:30 The sheep have returned from vacation! Cyclops may have had to stay home, but he got to ride in the new tow truck! Thanks for the sheep, I missed them the whole video!
Beautiful restoration! Absolutely love the color! About 20 years ago (or so) my mom and I were at a yard sale. I think the reason why we went down to the homeowners basement was because there was a set of weights my mom wanted to buy. The lady didn’t want to haul all of the pieces up in case nobody was interested in them, naturally. So we’re down there and mom spots a vintage aqua Buddy L car carrier. Mom asked her what she wanted for it and she said 50 cents! The lady told her she didn’t think anybody would want it! It was in amazing condition! There was a little paint loss by where the cab and trailer meet. The white wheels are pure white. Both ramps are still there, but no cars. There were a few more things we bought from her basement that nobody else at the sale saw, but that car carrier was the best! Love all your videos! Glad the sheep are back (I got a little worried in the intro). ❤️
At the start, when the rusty wrecker is towed away by your green wrecker, this thought popped into my head (and I'm not religious, so why I thought exactly that, I have no idea): "Physician, heal thyself." Your restoration is great, and the truck looks gorgeous. Nice one.
Excellent. When I was a kid, I would get a brand new truck and fill up the inside of those old hollow plastic tires with epoxy..They always broke at the axle before I started doing this. Love the suspension, too!
Navajo Nuget, my favorite auto color! Take your compressor and blow away the spiders before you work. You know, the one that drives the sandblaster. Never seen this type of battery housing on a vehicle. It takes away from the vehicle appeal. I wish it was under the vehicle. Get another tire if you don't like the flat always on display. But I like the fact that it can be changed! Another suppurb job by you Chip!
I got chills with the spiders...(same, i dont like spiders...) I like the restoration on this one, always your restoration always bring back to life again, from the that death gained pass time(older and older)... I always like them, they look too awesome.
Your work, and results of your restos are impecable. ....You must have some kind of money, to buy all that machinery, ...cnc machines, lathes, saws, welders, molding equipment, etc., etc.........enjoy...!!!!

Restoration is dying artform. It's awesome to see someone restore things to their former glory. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Chip
Wow😮
Take care😁
I find these videos deeply calming and relaxing.
Same =)
I can't relax until all the cobwebs are gone... just in case! 🧡
I agree
Me too... I watch them last thing and fall asleep on a positive note.
Я тоже
These bring back so many memories of the holiday sears and spegal catalogs
These old light up cars are always my favorite. ♡
Wow, very nice resto, thanks
I love the start of these videos with the towtruck, absolutely priceless.
Another beautiful transformation. I think the one eye sheep can go by the name 'Jack' for this edition
this has to be the nicest towing of the period.
good work bro.
It’s a lifetime mission to restore all the cars

I like your powder coating powder storage system
you did a great job restoring the tow truck.
As always, great job! I really enjoy watching these. A sheepy “I’m OK” T-shirt is a logical way forward 😁
Indeed, and an I'm OK sheep mug.😁
I’ve been asking for Sheep merch for more than a year, to absolutely no avail. I gave up. 😞
@@lindak8664 Maybe if more people ask for it?

Me too!!!! I have been asking for a bit now. 😻
Great restoration, good video, just good memories . Stay safe and healthy. Thanks 😊
I miss the sheep all over the junkyard at the beginning. It was like where’s my favourite sheep instead of Where’s Wally/Waldo.
Funny thing I started the video then ???????isn't this the little sheep dude channel????
Almost checked my med dosage!
Yes bring back the 🐑

I miss them too. Takes the fun out of it.
I think the colour looks great. It shined in the video.
That is one cool tow truck Chip. Awesome restoration on it as well! Enjoy your weekend

I have this same truck. I got it as a kid. The only difference is that mine is sort of a beige color rather than blue. Beautiful restoration.

Your collection is insane!! Beautiful!!
I'm always in shock seeing something I would just throw away turned into something looking better than it did when it was new.
Beautiful..as always. You never would have fixed that flat without sheep's help
First one of these I have ever seen. Awesome job. My first step would have been to soak it in Raid all night, I don't do spiders either.
Wow I can't believe some of them are the same trucks just wow, amazing work.

Those spring loaded front tires are so satisfying. Great touch by the designers.
I was actually watching your old videos 😂❤️❤️
Whenever I see the pink primer, I'm reminded of the movie Operation Petticoat.
Don't forget the sequel. I believe it was called, The Pink Submarine.

They may be creepy-crawly, but they do wonders for the environment. Spiders are our friends, with too many legs. I enjoy your creativity by the way!

Great work as always, Chip!
That would have been a nice truck to get as a present. Once again, Nice job !!!
I was thinking you probably made the spiders angry, but I guess not.
Great restoration job, Chip. Thanks for all these videos. Hug.
Well done! Had some Buddy L toys as a kid. I'm always surprised to see no lead in the paint. I figured everything had lead back then.
