    The idea is to be in as relaxed or calm a state as possible. Put on headphones if you need to. Best time is the right before you go to bed. The brain is supposedly more receptive in that relaxed state.
    The plan: listen to this as often as possible until the words and phrases are natural to you, that you don't even need to think to say them.
    These phrases can be used mainly for the first encounters. What do you say to people who you don't know at all or don't know very well? Those phrases.
    My name is Evan (Eko). Happy learning.
    Let me know if you want to learn anything specific. :)

    • @EkoLanguages

      It depends on what you want. As I mentioned in the beginning of this comment feed, Arabic has many dialects. Many of them are not mutually intelligible. I chose Egyptian Arabic because it is the most widely used in media and entertainment. Music, TV, and cultural exports are almost always Egyptian. This does not make others less important. I had to choose one, so I chose this one.

    Note: The Numbers Represent Sounds That DO NOT exist in English. There is a guide for those sounds in the beginning of the video.
    This is the Arabic spoken in Egypt or Egyptian Arabic. There are many dialects of Arabic. I chose Egyptian because it is one of the major dialects and Egypt has had a large cultural influence in the region over the years. Some dialects are not mutually intelligible. It is not like British and American English where virtually everything is understood. Some Arabic dialects have very little in common. Modern Standard Arabic is a language based on Arabic to "unite" the communication of Arabic speaking countries. But as you travel around and ask natives of these countries, they will "most likely" tell you that Modern Standard Arabic is not used in Daily Life. I want to help people communicate from day 1, not learn a language they may never utilize. Ergo, I chose this one. :)

      You should have one with Modern standard arabic (MSA) = Classical Arabic, that's spoken and understood by all Arabic world (Tv, programs, books, school etc.) and one with levantine arabic dialect that's spoken in Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine and Jordan. Egyptian dialect is spoken only in Egypt :/

    For people who are asking why are there numbers in between it's because some arabic letters have no english equivalence so we substitute them with numbers like
    5 (kh) = خ
    7 (h) = ح
    Another note: this is not standard arabic, fusha (fus7a), this is the egyptian dialect. The egyptian dialect is the easiest and it's understood among all arabs, don't worry.
    Good luck :)

    Can you actually learn a language while listening to it when sleeping? I feel like it won't work if you're not awake and attentive, seems too good to be true but IF IT WORKED FOR YOU PLEASE COMMENT AND TELL ME!!!

    • @kaybell6442
      @kaybell6442 5 років тому +1

      No but it helps with memory ie remembering phrases. Did this for spanish for two weeks never learnt it while awake and when i went to spain a few months later strangly i picked up phrases and I wasn’t sure how i knew them I’m guessing it’s from the video don’t think you can learn a whole language whilst asleep although i dont know you could give it a try :)

    • @tabethapacion7137
      @tabethapacion7137 3 роки тому +1

      @@MaddieFishblob there are 4 stages of sleep. One of those stages called REM is responsible for helping with long-term memory. It was also discovered the brain is always active during all sleep stages Even though the body may be immobilized the brain is active. So I say that it is entirely possible to learn while asleep. Maybe not quite the same as if you were awake. There is something I always do if I have something important to do the next day. It dose work every time. If I have to get up early I tell my self out loud many times wake up at such and such a time. Then I go to sleep It works every time. I wake up almost exactly at the time I said to myself before I fell asleep. If you think about it my brain must still be active while I'm asleep if I wake up at the exact time as I was supposed to. I know this is alot for an answer but I hope I helped to answer your question.

    You can't learn anything while your sleeping. When you sleep your body relaxes and repairs its wounds, you're also dreaming. And NOT paying attention to the outside world. You can't learn something with no effort. You have to put in the effort to achieve it or else it will never happen.
