As a new-ish canner from overseas, trying to learn a skill not commonly known in my country, and simply having books to guide me- learning this trick of changing the weighted regulator is the most incredible gift, it's going to be such a blessing for my time and how i can foods moving forward. This was a fantastic video thank you! I wish I had seen this when I was first interested in canning, I'm sure I would have started sooner, but I had so many fears and it seemed overwhelming, this would have helped a lot! Once I started canning I absolutely loved it, but I did buy one of the electric canners. It does work well for my needs, but there are definitely advantages and disadvantages to not having a stovetop canner.
I've never canned anything before and stumbled upon your video by chance, but this was so informative and entertaining to watch. Thank you! This guide makes me want to take up the practice of canning.
