Can someone explain why 1 of face fillet doesn't work i have done everything the sameway he did but it says ( rebuild error failed to create fillet. Please check the input geometry and radius value) my radius is 30 but it still doesn't work why?
A simple solution for those users having trouble with the 3rd 30 Radius Fillet. Just create another sketch. Then convert the edge entities of the corner that you are having trouble filleting with. Then Fillet the sketch with 30 radius. extrude the created contour up until the revolve surface. Hide the revolve surface again and THATS IT! edit: You're All Welcome!
Good afternoon. Why is the shell made earlier than the 30 mm rounding in the second variant? In my opinion, after this action, the wall thickness will not be equal to 3mm over the entire length.
Preparing to take the CSWP. Practicing by modeling all the model mania models. It took me about 45 minutes to get this model. Took this King 8 minutes for both. wow. just wow.
I find it more elegant to revolve the entire cone. This allows me to do the center bore in the same operation. I then negative extrude the empty space between two branches and circular pattern the negative space instead of the branch itself. This also allows me to draw the 22mm radius in the sketch and removes one fillet operation from the tree. The biggest downside to this method is that the cbore hole is not part of the circular pattern, but it still results in a more compact tree.
HELP. I tried modelling the same 3D in the video, but I cannot add 30mm fillet to all the faces. I can successfully fillet any 2 of them, only the third one cannot be made. If I changed the order to fillet these face randomly, the third one always cannot be done. Solidworks 2015
