It's called muscle memory bro .. take your time memorizing all those riffs and then after memorizing everything .. start playing it while you sing ..

Aliza Sheyyt see the struggle there is a good 65% of all guitar players struggle to sing and play at the same time. Hell, I don’t even struggle I straight up can’t sing and play. I either end up losing track of the tempo and rhythm of the part I’m playing or I dwindle off singing after a few words😂

Jibs99 But screaming is shit without purpose. You can't just "scream" and expect it to sound good. In real metal songs and screamers they have emotion. It's more than just "I can yell"
JAF Alright captain obvious but where did OP said the song had emotionless-screams ? Screaming is a well known type of vocal style now (and for many years now) And I don’t think we should remember people, every time we hear screaming, that this is not just a « scream ». It includes fry scream and false chord if you wanted to give actual informations BTW.
I love the way the bassist moves, nice and simple. Not like other bassist on the other videos, doing simple notes yet acting and doing the generic scene headbang and crabcore shit.

I honestly think you guys should do some more screaming. It doesn't have to be throughout the the whole song like it used to be for you guys, but I think you should incorporate it more into your songs, because you're easily one of the best at screaming.
Listen to their earlier albums, dude. They're the hometown heroes of the New Hamspshire "post-hardcore" scene.

The breakdown is without a doubt the best part of this. This is my favourite of your covers.
To all people complaining about the less amount of screaming, because that's what obviously the most of their fans want to hear. Think about that there are probably a lot of people who are pretty fine with a bit of screaming. I personally like their kind of screaming, but too much for me makes a song unhearable. And perhaps that's why they don't scream too much in their songs. So to say, they've found a happy midth between screaming and normal singing, which seems to be the best for all of their fans.

To those complaining about the drummer's sense of rhythm: The drummer is following the tempo and complementing the guitarist. If you listen more attentively to the instruments, you will notice that the percussion section in this song is fairly suitable.

This was a brilliant cover of the song! The only thing I didn't like was the screamo bit towards the end as i felt it didn't really connect with the song but other than that perfect!
