They harmonize really well. I don't like the original version of this song. Nothing significant, it's just not my kind of music. But they make it sound really good with the vocal harmonies and the instrumentation. Very well done, you guys. But I'm sure you get that all the time. Keep rocking.

Almost all of the original songs suck major balls, with the exception of Imagine Dragons, I couldn't stand this song before. hey dude dont feel bad about it, I'm a baritone and i still can get to higher notes if i use the right technique, BUT, even i sometimes don't want to go that high, there is so much you can do with a lower range voice, look at disturbed, avenged sevenfold, both bands have amazing mostly baritone vocalists
Im a bass and i know the struggle yet i find it fun when you transcribe the notes for bartitone and tenor music to fit the bass range and sing with what you're used to.
you can do it! its a journey to get there, and youll learn a ton of new stuff, more than just your objective so go for it

Ehhhh, too much drone, I can't actually hear the real song, but then again that's all metal. Just slamming power chords and really loud drums. I don't wanna sound like a prick though, cuz of course some body would be like "you do this." The singing didn't match The song at ALL. I mean, it's supposed to be like, sad and quiet to a point... Gahhhhhh idk. I just like Classical, jazz and 50s era of music. I just see too many people who just do random sweeps with a crap ton of distortion, saying they have skill, but turn off the distortion, and they sound like crap. But these guys have skills. Just the tone wasn't meant for this song.
I can respect that opinion. I personally love this cover (Not liking the original myself) although i disagree with you saying metal is just slamming power chords. I write metal myself using Jazz/blues chords as the foundation. Cheers~

I meant to say some, really- I appreciate any music that has thought and soul in it, which is hard to find these days :/
Flowerz N Daizyz What you described is pretty much post-hardcore, a subgenre. A lot of metal is very melodic, though distortion will always be there. Personally, I like dirty distorted tones, both in metal and EDM, though I appreciate where you're coming from. The tone of the song doesn't really fit the lyrics, nonetheless I still really liked it.
