You know now that i see this i feel like this is a really hard song to cover because of how crucial timing is. Its an easy song to learn because it only consist of 3 or 4 power cords, a few open notes and some good palm muting. But if you're off even a little on timing its extremely obvious.
I was listening to this since I was only one, such a groovie album. Furthest I can remember listening to this was 1997 and I was three then also hearing The Prodigy (for the very first time) 🤘😄🐼🎨📼
If I knew people will try to learn this song from here, I'd use a guitar with fret markers ;) Sorry for the inconvenience and good luck - it's really easier than it looks, just some open strings rhythms and couple of slides! :)
I used drop C# if I remember correctly. Easiest way to find out - play the track on the part where they're riding the empty low string, and adjust your low E down until you get a match. Good luck, song is a blast to play :)
@@ninetysics19 it is but there's no difference really in the particular notes being played open drop c# power chord is the same as first available c# standard power chord on the 2nd fret of the 5th and open 6th strings
If I remember correctly I've played it in drop C#. Played by ear though, and havent referenced anything other than the track, so have no idea what original tuning is.
GrayFox101 I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to be an asshole. That's why I started the comment with "nearly perfect" - the thing is, I personally was oblivious to the fact that almost all of those kinds of riffs in the entire genre of metal are almost always downpicked, and I used to upload covers playing it alternate myself, and one day someone told me, and they did me a huge favor. If I wouldn't have known then I would not have been able to progress in my playing. That's all I was trying to do is help the guy, not come off like a douche.
Not often you hear slide guitar in industrial metal, but it works really well. Great job!
It's just METAL. 🤘😈🤘
Easy chords but the sound is phenomenal
amazing cover dude, your guitar tone is so freaking amazing
Just watched this with my son who's started guitar lessons. Thank you for doing this!
Right on! Best of luck to your son!
is it appropriate for a boy to hear a woman's orgasm? hopefully you skipped that part enchanted
@@catchy_tune Youre not his Dad, mind your business
fantastic....love that guitar too...
Omg dude.... slayed it so f ing beautiful. Tabs never told the story of that slide like you do!
Great work!

Niioooce!!!
Niiiiiice!...
Nice one!
... You should also give 'No More Tears' a try ;)
Can you do a cover of return of the panthom stranger 😀😊
The way the open cs are played is down, quickly mute note, down, quickly mute note. To sound choppy. It's not down up.
dude needs to play it in time first
You have a good sound, what is your gear setup, particularly your amp
Hi thanks! It was guitar straight into Line6 UX1 interface and their POD Farm amp simulator (can't recall which profile though).
Anybody know what instruments are used in the very beginning? Like a weird gothic techno sound before the beat kicks in? Lol so damn cool sounding
You'll need a keyboard with a beat and put it on loop.
Sweet. .... no one's teaching this song on UA-cam

He’s not teaching it he’s doing a cover
You can figure it out yourself
Wow
Sounding good man. I've never played slide maybe a silly Q but are you using your normal strings?
Thanks. Yeah, normal strings and setup, probably 10-52.
Tunning pls? great cover by the way
Dude what amp and effects you got going on there?
Is that a brass slide?
What effects are you using?
It was a VST, most likely POD Farm as I was using Line6 UX2 at that time.
What tuning did you use?
I used drop C# if I remember correctly. Easiest way to find out - play the track on the part where they're riding the empty low string, and adjust your low E down until you get a match. Good luck, song is a blast to play :)
What tuning is this?
Drop C#
What tuning is this in?
I think I've played it in drop C# - tune whole guitar down half a step, then tune the lowest string another whole step down.
Pretty sure it's 1 and a half steps down.
@@ninetysics19 it is but there's no difference really in the particular notes being played open drop c# power chord is the same as first available c# standard power chord on the 2nd fret of the 5th and open 6th strings

.
Is this drop D?
If I remember correctly I've played it in drop C#. Played by ear though, and havent referenced anything other than the track, so have no idea what original tuning is.
Original tuning is C#-G#-C#-F#-A#-D#.
what guitar is that?
+craigime washburn wi-66 ANC (Nick Catanese sig)
Thanks
Nearly perfect but the chugs during the chorus are all down picked, not alternate
why do you have to be that guy
Sorry if I offended you! Go back to your safe space.
you didnt offend me Im simply tired of people like you that are perfectionists with covers. Its a "cover" for a reason

k
Sounds perfect! Just so boring to watch🤣
AWFUL timing. Every open string double hit is early. Dude, use a metronome
