The 90's was just an exciting time for music whatever genre you were into. Metal, alternative, grunge, hip hop, dance music, industrial, Brit pop, 2000 onwards just doesn't compare to what was going on in the 90's.

I would put a t shirt on my head, grab a broom and rock out to 107.7 or mtv (when it was cool AF) headbanging with a t shirt as long hair lol. Lost almost everything jobs, career, wife left me for another man. Took me a year to get my dying daughter through the courts just to see her 50/50 just to have her pass away a couple years later. I’ll never get that time back.

I was working on my grandfather's old '92 Deville, had the Delco-Bose Audio system. This song came on on the radio, and the punch out of those Bose speakers felt like a punch in my chest. It was so badass, needless to say I listen to this song regularly now.

Sound it out)...anyhow I was a bit surprised to hear nice inch nails and Rob Zombie in the first 5 minutes....BUUUUT then Fear Street 1994 launches into Garbage's I'm only happy when it rains....the lead single from Gargabe's debut album....from 1995....and Machine Head from Bush's Sixteen Stone...and maybe I'm splitting hairs here BUT it's fall/October/Halloween time in 1994 and Sixteen Stone wasnt released until mid-December '94. Then of course there's *this White Zombie tune here...featured heavily in Fear Street:1994 and the #1 single from White Zombie's Astro Creep released in..... ding, ding, ding ...1995*
Closer by NIN is the only song that was out in '94. And sure....they're still all good songs and its whatever....but I was 13 in '94 so I know there were great 1994 songs they could have actually used!!!

@@stantonvalberg9814 amen brother. Turning 50 next week and still rocking. I do think most decent music stopped evolving after the 2000s quite frankly. Some bands still kept fresh but really they're the exception. Can you compare the sheer level of exciting sounds to the last 10-15 years ..
@@sorearm there will always be good music to be found, but I agree, music on the whole just wasn't as good after 2000. And you have to look harder to find the good stuff. The 90's was just an exciting time for music whatever genre you were into. Metal, alternative, grunge, hip hop, dance music, industrial, Brit pop, 2000 onwards just doesn't compare to what was going on in the 90's.

In the 90's I was the only black kid that didn't like rap. I would put a t shirt on my head, grab a broom and rock out to 107.7 or mtv (when it was cool AF) headbanging with a t shirt as long hair lol. Eventually I rebelled n grew long dreddz but I'll never forget thinking "god that chick on bass is hot!"
Groove metal at it’s finest, these guys and gals and “Pantera” are the best groove metal bands in my opinion.

I was born in 81..and I remember this coming out when I was 17/18 in australia!..I'm 36 now and I'm still digging it!
Lost my 13 year old daughter last year to stage 4 cancer. This song crushes me as a father who could do nothing but watch the diseases slowly eat her alive. Lost almost everything jobs, career, wife left me for another man. Took me a year to get my dying daughter through the courts just to see her 50/50 just to have her pass away a couple years later. I’ll never get that time back.
