    In the Paulie/Connor sparring match, Connor was making illegal moves.
    The Hammer-fists and back-fists are definitely not legal. Boxers can only use knuckles.
    Also, the grappling and intentional pushing down is very shady, between gray area.
    This man doesn't know how to box, period.

  • @gnome3928
    @gnome3928 7 років тому +7

    How Paulie lost credibility:
    -Paulie claims: 1. the "push" came in round 7 during one of Conor's worst moments in the fight. 2. Conor clinched to catch a break and pushed him down out of frustration
    -Footage: shows Conor lighting up Paulie and there was no clinch. Conor had his hand on an already wobbled Paulie's head for a split second to position the follow up punch that dropped him.
    Regardless of whether you felt it was a push or knockdown, where was the clinch? Where was the lighting up by Paulie?
    He may have been concussed and remembered the fight wrong but not he's straight up lying and in denial.
    Also, in some of the interviews, he made it sound like Conor just grabbed and pushed him down just so they could take a picture.
    Right after the first sparring, he did all these interviews talking about Conor's not-so-"OMG power" and what rounds he fade. The whole fight is marketed to sell based on Conor's possible knockout power and the unknown. Also, Conor's chances also lay in Floyd not knowing what power to expect. He couldn't just keep quiet until August 27 and then he can elaborate all he wants. He could have easily said something along the lines of "You'll have to tune in on August 26 to see" Smh

    Paulie isn't a liar... You guys are being pretty outright unreasonable, and obviously aren't considering all the factual factors. I've seen enough to know why Paulie says it's a push down with McGregor's hand over Paulies neck after the left punch, and all this is 12 round footage. No doubt Pulie got whooped, but the footage they released makes it look like the left punch landed, when it actually did not, and so it was not that punch that knocked paulie down...

  • @fred4137
    @fred4137 7 років тому +26

    So many inconsistencies in his story, so many flat out lies.. getting tired of this. I know that mentioning and talking about Conor get more clicks/views.. but the media has to stop. This individual has been on his own world tour for the past 2 weeks

    • @VitalYFZ
      @VitalYFZ 7 років тому +1

      Exactly. He got his ego busted up and he's flat out lying about it. Anyone that has been watching Conor and Dana White for years knows this for sure: they tell the truth. Conor always speaks facts.

    • @sheryarpriceless

    • @toddtj1
      @toddtj1 7 років тому +1

      He's telling the truth about the editing.When Paulie got hit with the left it looks like that punch is what made him stumble and fall but those are clearly 2 different situations. They made it look like one continuous action when its 2 different incidents . That first left just sent him to the ropes that it. The clip starts at 5:11 and ends at 5:25. At 5:26 a whole new clip begins and this is where the push and so called knockdown takes place. So the straight left hand and the so called knock down probably happened in 2 separate rounds.....SMH they ought to be ashamed of themselves

    • @fred4137
      @fred4137 7 років тому

      tj jordan they didn't make it look like anything. Paulie purposely talks out of his arse hoping he gets idiots like you to believe him. Dana white posted 2 SEPARATE videos. They never tried to make it look like it was the same sequence, he published 2 distinct videos

    • @LintEastwood21
      @LintEastwood21 7 років тому

      Inconsistencies? how are you going to call Paulie out without stating Paulie's inconsistencies in his story? Isnt that your opinion now? based on what i heard he is telling the truth. He even said put out the full 36min sparring session and we will see who is telling the truth. What do you say to that ANDREMAR65, VITALYFZ AND IKE? Dont just be fanboys of Dana and Mcgregor gentlemen when you dont know all the facts.

    In a real fight he is dead. If his kids were hungry and Conor's kid was hungry and there was only one steak, Conor's kid is eating. To act like Floyd and Paulie are better fighters is like saying curry is a better basketball player than Jordan because curry could beat him in a 3 point contest. Boxers are all fools, the sport is limited.

    • @Robert96902
      @Robert96902 7 років тому

      True, but Conor had to come to the boxing ring because he is the b side, he's still confident he can beat Floyd in boxing tho, not impossible but close to it

    • @uhurucoalition7200
      @uhurucoalition7200 7 років тому +1

      Boxing is discipline. Boxing doesn't allow you to quit. You either get beat until you can't stand or the referee saves you. In MMA, you have the option to quit, as Conor proved during Diaz I. Boxing is endurance. MMA is 3 or 5 rounds. If you think those caveman punches are gonna beat Floyd, you're mistaken. Conor is fiery but how can you doubt a man's heart who's never lost? He's never even let it be close enough to be cheated. Conor doesn't stand a chance.

    I think something happened in the relationship between Fox and the UFC. The UFC used to have pretty strong editorial influence over any UFC coverage on Fox, they were basically just there to echo the company line of the UFC. Colin Cowherd's been very openly critical of McGregor and his chances ever since this fight got announced, it's very different to the type of things he used to say when Dana White was a regular guest on his show.

  • @jajouji
    @jajouji 7 років тому

    Gotta say, he presented himself pretty well. Was pretty neutral, took a few small jabs at Connor which is totally understandable and almost necessary to keep appearances and his pride.
    Not bad, plus he also hyped the fight a little by not talking way too down on Connor and giving him a chance. Either a good interview by him or hes in on it with Connor. (win/win for Connor and Paulie, promotion for floyd fight plus setting up a next potential fight)

Throw some 💰 to Pauly and have him leave himself open and act tired during sparring session. Now way Pauly leaves himself open like that without doing it on purpose. Everyone wins.

Conor was just trying to have an advantage just to release the photos. Why does everyone consistently lie to try and prove a point? First the 12 rounder happened 48hours, yes TWO DAYS, after Paulie landed. Second Dana released the two clips because Paulie was running around talking to everyone & their mom saying Conor got frustrated because he was destroying him and pushed hime down. The impresion everyone had was Paulie was wooping him & Conor pushed him down w/ two hads out of frustration.
      Dana said, who is a billionaire & deals w/ professional fighters for a living, that Paulie was just telling lies to everyone & he got sick of it. Heanse releasing the clip

    Why is everyone dissing paulie? Lol if it really happened like conor said it did than why not put unedited footage? Honestly, the McGregor fans are going to be very angry after this fight just because they idolize that man and think he a ninj

    Why is this dude still talking...he clearly lied already several times and he's lying again. Now he's saying why doesn't Mcgregor release the whole fight and Dana White clearly stated the other day they will release the entire fight after the Mayweather bout.

    Its funny because the non-boxing fans have no idea who Paulie is. He was always a weird stutterer who really only entered Mcgregor's camp to maintain relevance. Wouldn't shock me if he is only making this media run to set up a big fight and come out of retirement.

    Literally got knocked down by this MMA clinch fighting. Fairly. In a boxing match.

    To quote Alanis Morissette, "Isn't it Ironic," that a sport that selected an actor, into it's Hall of Fame, because he played a boxer in a few movies, is the same sport that calls this fight, and Connor, "a disgrace." When in fact, this is as close to the movie Rocky, as we will ever see in real life. Remember Rocky didn't win that first fight vs Apollo, but he won the fans. Connor doesn't have to win, to actually win. Floyd has to knock him out, or win by stoppage, to actually win.
