Just played yesterday at my dads funeral at his bequest. Rest in peace Dad. I now understand how beautiful this song is and I will play when I want to remember you and need you close by. I love you forever 💔💔💔💔😢
Lose you despair it's a piece that is still giving and still being sources ,got to love the best of that and acknowledge it's endu ance and provocative emotive ,god bless the best of sound
Absolutely moves me to tears every time I hear it. Whenever you see humans doing terrible things to each other, or to themselves on reality TV, listen to this, and realise what humans ARE capable of. People are maikng those beautiful noises!
@John Holmes Dostoyevsky said "The World will be saved by beauty" When you hear this aria it is easy to understand why he made such a statement. Thank God for Mozart's existence.
Definitely, Mozart must have had this very special connection to god. If AI ever overtakes us mere mortals this will remain as proof of unmatched human genius!
In this scene from Mozart’s opera “Cosi Fan Tutte”, two military officers made a wager with a cynical friend that their respective fiancees will be faithful in their absence. To test the bet, the two men sailed away, allegedly on active service while the two sorrowing women and the cynical friend wished them a safe journey and speedy return in the trio “Soave sia il vento”.

Absolutely the best Così fan tutte! Pisaroni, Lehtipuu, Vondung, Persson, Ivan Ficher ... all wonderful! and Miah ... I'v got no words for her: outstanding, excellent !
I was lucky enough to see this performance live. This trio has been on my "Desert Island Discs" list ever since and is usually the one I would save from the waves above the others.

It is difficult to believe that it took so many years for Cosi to join Nozze and Don Giovanni with a trio such as this and it is only one of the sublime moments in this opera. The staging is conventional but stylish and available on DVD.
Indeed - very gorgeous! Well done Nicolas Rivenq, Miah Persson and Anke Vondung. Bravissimo Herr Mozart! David Alexander Lillis. Lower Hutt, New Zealand. 19 July 2024

The towering genius of people like Mozart in music and Michelangelo in art, for example, are my single biggest reason for a belief in God or some divine force. I find it impossible to believe that such astounding creativity can be the result of evolution. It’s also not easy to believe that the talent of the singers is a lucky result of evolution!.
There's a beautiful innocence in this trio, wishing the good of someone you love as they leave. In some productions Don Alfonso expresses some cynical looks as he sings along. Still, it is very sweet transcendent moment. ❤
There will come a day when I will be able to understand enough about my life, about existence and about music, that I will be able to write about how absolutely perfect this piece of music is...there are moments of Transcendental Dissonance that are almost too painful to listen to, this is Life
I just love this production... Miah is fabulous, she's the best Fiordiligi ever :) I'd love to see this production in Portugal, but these great singers doesn't come here to sing :( However, congratulations for this great production :)
The sincerity of the characters' feelings shinea through (despite the cynicsm of Don Alfonso's joke). Wonderful. So typical of the beauty of Cosi fan tutte...
I'm not the biggest fan of choral-based pieces (just telling it like it is, I suppose), but...ever since I stumbled across this one day upon listening to some (apparently obscure) version of the "Amadeus" soundtrack: I will always hold its prolific melodic beauty within my heart. Thank-you for posting this.
I love it except that it cuts off a few seconds early. I remember a few years ago finding on UA-cam this trio from the same production except that it is a few seconds longer, including the last few flute notes.
Non trovo parole adeguate a commentare questa meraviglia. Ricordo che mentre l'ascoltavo dal vivo piangevo come un bambino.
Such a peaceful aria

This was my fathers favorite aria and he passed in 2019!
@@DaveO-n8mthey had good taste 😢❤
Bless you - may his memory forever be a blessing... I've long wanted this played at my own memorial.
so sorry for your loss it is indeed a great piece of music!
This might be my favourite aria in all of opera. Definitely the top three. So comparatively simple yet so moving
Me too. I want to have it played when I die. A sweet way to say goodbye.
I despair when people claim a certain performance is the best ever etc, but let me just say this is certainly up there.
Lose you despair it's a piece that is still giving and still being sources ,got to love the best of that and acknowledge it's endu ance and provocative emotive ,god bless the best of sound
The intro to this stunning Aria plays in the Nice tramway when it approaches the Durandy station, it is glorious, every single time 😊
Absolutely moves me to tears every time I hear it. Whenever you see humans doing terrible things to each other, or to themselves on reality TV, listen to this, and realise what humans ARE capable of. People are maikng those beautiful noises!
Music brings people together. Absolutely agree.

I mean, Don Alfonso is doing something pretty horrible to these two women in the opera!
You stole my exact words ! But thank you.
The funny thing is that Mozart composed this song because he hated the singer so much and he wanted to see her bob her head like a chicken
Oh...Mozart..
Genius from heaven above!
Definitely, Mozart must have had this very special connection to god.

It is incredible how beautiful opera can be.
and it seems Queensland opera are doing the best ,version of the classic that is enduring
The most incredible aria ever written by an absolute genius!!!!
Chokes me up every time!!!!!!!

It is quite beautiful (but it's a trio, not an aria)
Me, too. :)
I heard this performed lived in my home county, Napa , California, around 20 years ago. Still fresh, still moving, and exquisite. Thank you, Mozart.
This music is heaven on earth. It’s the perfectly beauty written in notes - performed by human voices. Always when I hear it I know all will be good
Great comment 👍
Look for beauty and eschew ugliness to remain happy and calm.
"Sunday, bloody Sunday" brought me to this piece first and I've loved it ever since. The film gained hugely: I've gained for the rest of my life.
Absolutely the best Così fan tutte! Pisaroni, Lehtipuu, Vondung, Persson, Ivan Ficher ... all wonderful! and Miah ... I'v got no words for her: outstanding, excellent !
Beautiful rendition. One of the most charming trios ever in opera. Gooseflesh👏🏻 Cossi fan tutte forever.
There are many huge talents in the composer list, but Mozart has to be the greatest and in such a short time!
Most, or all current musicians will be forgotten in the next 2 centuries, but Mozart will never be forgotten.
An act of expression of Divine Grace.
The best one yet...can't stop listening to this version
I was lucky enough to see this performance live. This trio has been on my "Desert Island Discs" list ever since and is usually the one I would save from the waves above the others.
If you listen to this, and you’re not transformed by its majestic beauty, check for earwax.
My favorite Soave from my favorite Cosi cast. This is such a beautiful aria.
Simply the best performance of Mozarts greatest trio
Well, some bars of Don Alfonso's part are not by Mozart.
Maskers in Don Giovanni
@@robert111k Could you be more exhaustive, please ? Thank you :)
Avail yourself of Mackerras' Telarc recording with Lott, McLaughlin and Cachemaille if you can. It is studio rather than live, but it is brilliant.
Simply breathtaking. The emotion shown in the voices is almost beyond belief.

Absolutely. Find this particular performance especially moving. Brings me to tears. Should music be allowed to do this?
@@irvingwood of course. Don't worry
hate to say ,but sounding flat to me in parts....
@@nancygaston4095 fair enough. You're probably an opera singer yourself 😁

What a beautiful music 😌😌
Sono bravissimi tutti e tre, ma la dolcezza di Miah mi commuove fino alle lacrime... Grazie, Miah
Transcendentally beautiful music and heaving bosoms - the ideal partnership.

The ARIA for 3 personage.... Priceless by Mozart.... Classica !

Sublime music beautifully executed😄

Yes indeed 😊
