Why did the test administrator use a word like "corroborate" with a rapper!?! Dude should've called his potential pops-in-law. I'm sure Tip could've defined the word for him.

@@damonlynch3819 He did answer the question, but it sounds like he mistook "corroborate" for "collaborate." He said she's more lit than he is, which means he couldn't corroborate her. It would have to be the other way around. He could collaborate with her. But when it comes to corroboration, the person with the most authority/clout/etcetera does the corroborating. So...if Zonnique is the more popular of the two, and dude understood the word, he should've explained to the adminstrator that he's not even in the position to corroborate her.

@@damonlynch3819 You may be right. I think he did say collaborate, which makes more sense. And yeah, corroboration does mean to back up or support... generally speaking. But in regard to the entertainment industry, corroboration is more specifically defined as cosigning someone. It's like when a big name producer executive produces a new artist's entire project, a Grammy award-winning band allows an unknown vocalist to open their tour, a well-known R&B singer cuts a single with her not-so-known rapper-boyfriend. That's corroboration in the music industry - when a bigger name makes a career move that shows his/her stamp of approval for a lesser name......just an FYI. But really, all this is pretty irrelevant - since I do believe you're right in saying I mistook what the guy administering the test even asked him!
