To stick them together you could also put one of the hemispheres on a hot pan to melt that edge and stick it on! Also it’s good to put it in the mug first and pour the milk over so it doesn’t splash , Also it’s cute to store in cupcake cases :)
Thankyou so much for this all the stores were sold out of the silicone mold I needed so I gave up and searched to see if there was a way and I found this and YAY 😀 I found it thankyou SM
it was SO SATISFYING watching the hot chocolate bomb melt at the end🥰 this was so informative, i really want to make a hot chocolate bomb!! tysm for the DIY mold part bc i didn’t know that you could do this without having to buy one. this deserves so much more views omg.
This is the best idea for making silicone molds out there!!I've seen some using the actual ornament, which I don't think is a good idea just because the plastic is definitely NOT food safe. Thank you for spreading GOOD information that is not dangerous! I've already bought some cheap old silicone mold that is coming after Christmas 🙄 If it does arrive after Christmas I'm not even using it at all 😂
It’s like I just walked inside my pantry. I have literally the exact brand of all of these! Thank you for this tutorial, I’m so excited to try it out :))
Thank you so much for this video! I made a whole batch of them (14 pieces), it was so much fun, they turned out beautifully and delicious and it took me less than two hours. I was intimitated by all those videos talking about tempering the chocolate and only using the molds etc. - it's clearly not necessary! I used my tea infuser to mold the tin foil, it had the perfect size. I couldn't find mini marshmallows, so I cut up the big ones (mix them with a little powdered sugar, so they don't stick together!) and drizzled white chocolate and sugar beads on top. Can't wait to gift them to my friends, family and colleagues. :)
Love this video it says yes we are real people doing this and no we haven’t made hundreds before showing you so guess what....you can do it too! Doing them with my Grandbabies tonight, thank you
another way of pressing the two halves together is by heating up one and then sticking it to the other one, that way you get less mess and more stick :)
I’ve been wanting to make these but I don’t have a mold either! This video was so so good and the instructions were so clear💚 new subscriber! I’m excited to watch your channel grow 😄
This is the best thing I’ve actually ever seen! Thank you for sharing this! I had everything to do it and needed molds but couldn’t find them anywhere at all! Now my 6 year old daughter and I can make these tonight! Thank you so much ❤️
Hi, Liv: This is your first video that I've ever seen. Like a lot of commenters, I was interested in making chocolate bombs. I realized I alreadyhave all the ingredients on hand....but no mold. And I'm not going to any store (1) in THIS pandemic, (2) looking for a mold that probably soldout everywhere, (3) especially 3 days before Christmas! This is perfect! You rock! You just earned another new subscriber. I can't wait for more videos; meanwhile I'll take a peek in your library. Merry Christmas!
When I did mine I used a warm plate to make the side nice and even and it also connects them nicely. Than you don’t have to connect them with extra chocolate.
I literally don't marshmallows sprinkles choco chips but I'll manage Thanks For your Lovely recipe😉😉 Love from India ❤️ and well I subscribed your channel❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this! I was planning on making these for my co workers but then seen my molds wouldn't be here on time and being from a small place had no idea what to use! You are a God send haha.
I made some using the kinder toy. Trick I found to get them out of the mold was to put some warm water in half of one mold, put the chocolate filled mold in let it sit for a few seconds and it comes out easier.
THANK YOU!! I would put a plate in the microwave and make it all hot. Then take each half mold and meld the rim to stick together. Also put the bomb in the mug first and then poor hot milk/water over the top to see it explode : )
Great to know you don’t need to have a mold cause they’re all sold out almost!! Thanks..FYI, not being mean because I get after my son for this but when cooking, messing with edibles PLEASE don’t touch hair..
I for sure can agree if you are making food for others! These were just ours to eat so we were okay with having our hair down! Whenever we are baking for others we always pull it back and wash our hands often! 💗
Either one! We put ours in the freezer so that it would harden quicker. If you put it in the fridge, it may take up to 40 minutes to be completely hardened. 👍💕
Thank you for making this. I am watching this after I made a mess by trying to make it with plastic foil and muffin pan 😂 I think it ended up with too much chocolate.

What a great idea. I never thought about aluminum foil. I did use plastic wrap and was not thrilled with the texture.
Yes! Aluminum foil is definitely sturdier than plastic wrap so it should work just fine!!
I love your chocolate bombs I have shared this with a lot of people. Keep the good work up and thank you
Aw that is so nice! Thank you!

Love this 😁❤ its such a great idea!!!!!
Yes thank you! ♥️
These r adorbz! !!!!!!😍
Thanks!
Great video! Well done!
I needed this ! Thank you 💓!!!
Yay! Of course!!
If you add coconut oil to the chocolate before you melt it, it won’t stick.
Yeah we just like the chocolate to be nice and firm, and adding oil would soften it a bit!
Thank you so much 😊
Thanks for the idea of using aluminum foil...I love the rustic look rather than a smooth surface .x
Aw yay glad you like it! 🥰💕
Tysm! I only had white chocolate so that's what I used, lol
Thank you so much 💓
Omg this is the best idea and hack I've everrrrrr seeeeeenn omgggggg thank u so much yaàaaaaaaaaaaaay
Can u do this with a bar of chocolate instead of chocolate chips ?
Of course! Any chocolate will do!
@@TheLIVSisters k thx
can you do a video on how to make white phosphorus bombs? mine never taste right ☹️☹️☹️
Maybe! We could do a video making different flavors like white chocolate!
It works better if you put the chocolate bomb in the cup first then pour hot milk on top 👍🏽🥰
Good idea I’ve seen people do it both ways so we will have to try that!! 🥰
Really helpful
I can’t wait to make these! I’ll let you know how they go!
Yay! Good luck!
@@TheLIVSisters They turned out to be so good!!!
Ahh yay! Glad they worked out! 💗
Great idea!! Thanks
You are so welcome!
Thanks awesome job
Can u use chocolate and meltmit
Any type of chocolate that doesn’t have a filling will work!
@@TheLIVSisters thanks
Try putting the bomb in the empty cup and slowly pouring really hot milk over the center of it for a different cool effect :)
Yes several people told us that trick and I’m mad I didn’t do it haha!
i subbed...thank u so much for this video😍
Of course! Thanks for subbing!
Great video
Yay cristmas,! 2020 I totally gonna make it
🥳🥰
Ingenious!!!
Haha thanks!!
If I use the chips the chocolate seems to melt quickly and it's slow to set up. The wafers don't give me that problem, wonder why? Great job, btw!
Thank you! And we haven’t tried it with wafers but we might have to!
LOL That bomb looks gigantic for a cup. The idea is great, I will find a smaller ball.
👍
Thank you so much dear friend to give the substitute of a silicon mould. You explained very well. I sub you my new friend stay connected.
Yay! Glad you liked the video and that you thought the instructions were clear!
