    I'm glad this video exists, but I wish there was a manual. At least for this camera's specific knobs and stuff

    What an excellent overview of the 45F2. I have learned new things even after a year of use. Wonderful design and engineering in this camera and the video is testament to it.

    Excellent video. It reviewed things I already knew but also pointed out some more nuanced features I didn't know the camera had. Thank you for producing this one.

    This was a very good video about the 45F2! I especially enjoyed the "historic" part at the beginning. I just ordered mine, let's see when I will actually get it (I already have an Intrepid 4x5, so there's ample time) …

      Chamonix sells it on their website. Or did you get another one since then?

    Just received mine a few days ago, so your timing for this video couldn't be better . Now looking for a Goldilocks tripod, and that one looks ideal. What is it?

    good video, and very informative, one suggestion, for your next camera, add a red or green coloured dot for the off center lens boards, as the "zero position", so no more need to guess it.

      Because the camera comes without a manual, I always thought the white dots were the center position for linhof boards. I own this camera for several years now. Thanks for mentioning it! But I think this is a design fault. Is there anybody who uses other than linhof boards on this camera?

    • @andyvan5692
      @andyvan5692 7 місяців тому

      @@mj-kd9np maybe not?, but I suggested it as I shoot sinars, and they have a multi format system the p2 can interchange format frames, so can be rigged to use 4x5", 5x7" or 8x10" film, and for this three separate zero settings are engraved on front and rear standards (carrier assemblies) to centralise the lens in the format frame, this makes it easy, esp. if each lens has a different image circle.

    Hass忘记说,底部的快装板是两个安装孔,可以买一个两个螺丝的快装板,这样快装板和机身之间的固定就更牢固了,不会应该快装板松了而发生机身移动的情况。

    I just watched this video again in anticipation of receiving my new 45F2 in a few weeks. Is there a need to add a fresnel on the ground glass?

      No need Larry. It’s plenty bright enough.
