- There are a few knots that you can do so much with. I try to stay away from gizmos when a knot will work just as well. It is a useful skill to have. I keep a piece of paracord on my desk.

Thanks Mike for directing me here. Thanks Tom. Great video.
Hi Tom,
Great tips and knots. The advice to practice is also a good tip. 73 WJ3U
Knots are like jokes to me… I can never remember them. Great video! 73!
Thanks, the playlist looks helpful. I'll follow your lead and cut a piece of paracord to have nearby and practice a few of these knots.
Hey Tom, you hit on all the points about convenience, time and most importantly memory! Lot's of time I forget how to tie the knot! But that's on me. I'm using the rope rollers to secure my awning down and I'm not always the one that's doing it, so the rope rollers allow anybody to complete that task. I use that taught line and truckers hitch on my masts. Great video to showcase the knots and I totally agree, know your knots! It's an invaluable skills to have!!!!
I dido Kyle's comments. Probably because it's the same account, just different channel! LOL! Again, always love the videos Tom. Watch every one of them.
