Hey guys, we finally watched a movie relative to its release in theaters which is pretty awesome. We really have enjoyed the MonsterVerse series, it's been one of our favorite series so far. The fights in this movie are simply excellent and epic. Also bet they studied communication between Apes to get the interactions between Kong and the others down right… yet its still easy for us to figure out what they’re saying!

Fun Fact: When Kong was sharing his kill with Suko in the novelization, Kong actually said "I'm a God Boi!".

Godzilla was tearing apart Shimo’s snow cloud thing lol. His evolved pink form is permanent. I believe he was evolving for something else cause that was a little too easy for him.
I feel like this movie was to show just how OP Kong and Godzilla working together can be. I hope the next one really puts them to the test though

He would have that pink form until he runs out of the newly absorbed radiation.
Godzilla always evolves according to the type of radiation it receives. His natural blue glow form is by absorbing Earth radiation, he got burning mode after absorbing Mothra's life radiation in KOTM and now pink form after Absorbing the Taimut's lair pink radiation.
Fun fact: Suko is bigger than Kong was in Skull Island, Kong was 104ft tall, and Suko is over 149ft tall

@@DaloWrld It's not explained in the movies. Other sources like Gojicenter say that Kong spent most of his time hunting down Skull Crawlers in the tunnels in Skull Island. These tunnels have similar radiation to Hollow Earth. This is why Hollow Earth Kongs are bigger than the Kongs from Skull Island.

Godzilla suplexing Kong, the former doing a dive into the river, and especially the two running together was worth the price of admission. It actually goes to show how fast and agile Godzilla became since 2014.
This movie is a Showa era film on steroids and I LOVE IT.

Kong is a protector of mankind and king of the hollow Earth. Godzilla is an avenger of the nature and king of the monsters. Mothra is Queen of monsters while also being the bridge between mankind and the Titans.
Another film is already in development.

Godzilla's lightning is called Atomic Breath, when he uses it on the enemy's face, they call this Atomic Breath the kiss of death.
Me and my Mom held in our tears and screamed in joy when we saw mothra come back❤ she is one of my favorite kaiju and I’m so happy they finally brought her back , I love her so much, what a beauty

I love the natural progression of the bond between Kong and Suko. Even with that "I'll beat a motherfucker with another motherfucker" moment. And the fact that Jia was prophesized as a hero who can rouse Mothra from her slumber is amazing, same with her meeting other members of her people.
Fun fact: Dan Stevens also played The Beast in the remake of Beauty And The Beast.
21:56 Fun Fact Shimo is apparently the first Titan born on earth basically makes her the mother of all the titans and not only she’s responsible for the ice age but is also the one who froze Ghidorah in Antarctica and she’s actually bigger than Ghidorah when she stands on her two legs andnot only that, Shimo is the only Titan that Godzilla was really afraid of.

This is absolutely how I wanted all the previous ones to feel too!! It finally NAILED what it was trying to be!! No more frikkin DARK scenes, the humans are done right, the fights and character development of the Titans was done so well, the pacing, just everything for the world built worked so absolutely perfect. Even the exposition was done so well it was shot artfully I forgot it was being narrated a sec. Just so well done all around. This gave me EVERYTHING. I wished they were keeping this same direction. Finally perfect.
I completely agree with you, but this movie was kind of too goofy for me. I wish the tone of it would go back to King of the monsters and make the Titans feel heavy again.
@@tmac731 You are joking if you think KOTM was actually any less goofy! They just did a better job having dark shots and having humans say fake deep lines. LMAO but that's just my opinion, once again. This wasn't really trying to pretend to be anything other than what it was. And I got more monsters than humans and Godzilla was actually BEING an alpha and kicking titan butt
@@auburnsmith2062 KOTM had scenes showing the humans suffering. Rodan awakening flying over the city destroying it, Ghidorah destroying DC. That’s what I was talking about. If the next movie can combine GxK Titan storyline and make the titans feel heavy again is the movie I want
@@tmac731 Bro, what about Rome? France? Frikkin Rio??? Those got WRECKED and showed a ton of weight, in well-choregraphed, well lit, well paced sequences that I genuinely don't see in KOTM. How many more humans can we possibly kill?? Haha but I love Godzilla and I own and rewatch all of the movies! I just find KOTM to be the absolutely weakest in the franchise but he's still my king!

2:18 fun fact we’ve seen this Titan before if you watched king of the monsters then surely you should remember that there was a scene showing this Titan awakening from the ground and at the end of the movie bows to Godzilla, this Titan named Scylla has been a pain in the ass for Godzilla as they actually fought before because Scylla was gonna consume a bomb that would cause a lot of damage and Godzilla decided “nah your not eating that” and after they fought Godzilla spares Scylla, sometime later eventually Scylla decides to challenge Godzilla for the throne so she began to consume radiation from multiple power plants but even that wasn’t enough as Godzilla is just the goat so Godzilla decided this girl had to go

Ever since Godzilla vs Kong, I wanted to see more of them working together and this movie did not disappoint. I can't get enough of it.
Fun fact: When Adam was aksed about how Shimo came to be, Wingard stated that his desire to see Kong and Godzilla face a threat big enough that they would need to team up helped breathe life into this original kaiju, "The starting point was Skar King was always going to be the anti-Kong, and Shimo was going to be the anti-Godzilla sort of for this movie. Because I wanted a threat that was so big... It was like you needed a threat so big that the two of them would have to unite to take it on. And the fun thing about Shimo is that she really is this kind of weapon of mass destruction. And I wouldn't say she's good or bad. She's kind of a blank slate, and that's what makes her an interesting character as a monster."
Adam Wingard literally said Shimo is a threath so big that Godzilla and Kong have to unite to take on her. Skar King is just the one who commands her to fight both. That just shows the true power of Shimo.
Fun fact: Shimo (the white godzilla in case you forgot) is the first ever titan, before mothra before godzilla

Godzilla beam is called Atomic Breath. It’s practically pure radiation. Now that he is pink, he is 20x more powerful than when he was on fire in King Of The Monsters when he killed Ghidorah.
The white ice monster, Shimo, is the mother of the titans, the oldest of them all and is believed to have frozen Ghidorah in the ice in Antartica, making her the most powerful Titan we’ve seen so far
She didn't freeze Ghidorah. Godzilla and Mothra froze him millenia ago. This has been confirmed by the director and written materials by Legendary.

Its all good. The humans in that universe believed it to be Shimo, but its been proven false by the director and extra materials. If it wasn't for the director and the extra materials, I'd actually say the theory does hold water and believed it myself until I heard otherwise.

It might just be me but when Godzilla smacked Skar King when he was thrown to him with his tail, it may have paralysed his legs. We saw how he was flipping and climbing around Kong in the Hollow Earth, but after being hit by Godzilla's tail, his legs dangle and he tries to struggle out of Kong's grip with only his arms. I may be overthinking, but I thought it was interesting

Doctor Dolittle is MUCH more than an Eddie Murphy movie! It was a series of books that was started over a hundred years ago, and the first movie based on it was with Rex Harrison in the 60s (the one I grew up with and the most accurate to the books). It was also made into a movie a few years ago with the actor who played Iron Man in their live action movies

15:45 Fun Fact Tiamat has met Godzilla before, after the movie king of the monsters he wanted to go to a old lair of his to rest but when he arrived Tiamat jumped him and actually almost killed Godzilla but luckily He managed to kick Tiamat out. now heres little facts about Tiamat. tiamat was originally found by monarch under Stone Mountain Georgia until Ghidorah awakened her and she destroyed a good chunk of Georgia leaving death in the millions eventually making it to the ocean and going to Godzillas old lair, she’s also able to create water spouts and spray deadly acids she’s also estimated to be 1100 feet in length also the Tiamat we see in the movie is different because she originally had purple, blue, and light blue skin but when she went to Antarctica and absorb some of the solar energy it caused her to change as she now had more razor sharp scales, pink and grey skin and now has tiny arms and legs as her original form didn’t have, and one of her new abilities she obtained after absorbing the radiation is that her cells are so hot they cause the sea around her to boil and create a storm that can be seen from outer space.

Adam Wingard and the designer told @rasingh242 that Godzilla's pink power is temporary, and his evolved form is at mid tarnsformation, meaning he is still evolving. He will get his normal blue atomic breath, Adam Wingard confirmed this. The most powerful Godzilla will be Super Fire Godzilla. Adam Wingard is going to introduce the most powerful Godzilla in the history of the Godzilla series. Godzilla will be the main focus, and Kong will have less screen time. Toho didn't allow Legendary to use Godzilla for more than 14 minutes, Limited screen time. Adam Wingard will take permission from toho and use Godzilla for more than 14 min. This is all Inside news. Planning is still going on.
You guys need to check out Godzilla minus one. It’s Japanese with English subtitles. It’s really incredible. Won an Oscar for best visual effects.
This movie was really good, the way they expand on the little tribe girls roots and her village being discovered, the way they worship Mothra, all the new baddies, the Kong story development, Godzillas new pink form is actually pretty sick ngl! the only part i hated was the crappy marvel type music which i found childish and cut the seriousness of the 2 scenes but it's a kong movie so its meant to be half joke half serious which is why I prefer the Godzilla movies, they will be making the Godzilla story movie next I hope they do a good job and keep it serious!

Fun Fact: Kong comes to the surface for the first time in years and actually uses an Alpha Titan roar like Ghidorah did in King of the Monsters. It basically was a challenge, because he knew Godzilla would hear it and come BLITZ him, which he did lol. I remember seeing in the novelization the call said something along the lines of “I’m here! Come and get me - if you can!”
I would love one of you reactors to chose maybe half a dozen of the Showa Toho movies to react to (the original Godzilla films) My suggestion would be the 1954 original, Godzilla vs Mothra (1964), Ghidorah-The Three Headed Monster (1964), Godzilla vs the Smog Monster (1971) and Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975) (I'll let you choose #6)

I loved this film, and it's my favorite it in the franchise so far. Godzilla x Kong 3 is already confirmed and will be a Godzilla centered story, and the plot will be heavily influenced by Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995) I'm assuming we'll see in 2027.
