Even two years later this makes perfect sense to me. He’s the kind of talent that ANYONE who sees it knows that he’s the only one who can play like THAT. The world really doesn't work that way. I don't even know who Chad Smith is. But this guy as good as he is, no one is paying you for all that. Because you get in the way of the singer and everyone else. You never see anyone playing like that live. You'd be fired the next day. That's the problem with people and chops, the people that care ain't the one playing you all the ones that don't care are the ones paying you.
