Jesus, here I am complaining that my DRZ400 is too heavy, and you're out here making it's big brother look like it floats on air. Very impressive riding.
Very nicely done. Now a majority of the ppl watching will go and buy a dr650 and only then realise it’s not the bike but the super talented mind blowing rider that is the star here.
Wow....just goes to show ya.....it's NOT the bike that counts.....its the rider and his skill set..... This guy can go anywhere indeed....awesome riding and good video
Fantastic riding! Such a change to see a guy riding a simple old trail bike so well over serious obstacles. Lovely exhaust noise too, just a nice background burble instead of a high pitch scream. Just shows what a guy who knows his bike well can do. There is an old saying in shooting "beware of the man who only shoots with one gun because chances are he will outshoot everybody else" well I reckon this could be a case of "beware of the man who rides just one bike"!
Haha I like that, only one vehicle for me, so needs to get me around town, out camping and checking my old single trails, all in one. Thanks for popping in with that cool insight
@@SKIDSnSTUFFYou've ridden on other bikes too, right? I love my DR, but it's not forgiving for learning new stuff. Getting a small dirtbike was huge for learning new techniques for me

I’ve been riding for 2 decades and this is super impressive! Your balance is unreal. Timing perfect. Those big logs freak me out but you made them look easy. Well done
I have an ‘09 DR650 (25,000 miles) and ‘21 CRF450RL (9,900 miles) - oddly I find myself going back to the DR more and more for most of my riding. I would still rather ride that terrain with my CRF - but the DR doesn’t disappoint to often.
Wow,Wow, that's amazing riding and totally inspiring..Will take an insane amount of practice to get that free and easy. Good on you mate and thanks for your efforts again..i see its a year ago but i'm catching up.🙂
i ride dr650 2003 (not rally moded) and i do a 4 steps shortcut everyday and its just a no brainer. i realised that obstacles around lamp height are the most easy one for the RHINOS- this bike behavior is more controlled and consistent from my endruro's (gasgas 4-250/2-300) in this segment there's a reason this bike havent change for almost 20 years. hes the best.
Happy to drop off my DR (with a few slabs) and leave it with you for a few weeks if you can train it to do that. It's fine launching off big logs, it just needs to learn how to land wheels-down (with me still on it) and keep going. We've had a few talks about it, but it won't listen to me... 🙂
Excellent video! Not only great riding skill but also excellent editing, music, and scene flow. Like anyone that is very good at something, you make it look easy, that anyone could do it. Until we try. Ugh, the DR is one heavy beast when out of shape, even worse when the pilot is out of shape! Double whammy and off to the hospital for another vacation... Thanks for making the videos mate!
Wow thanks Jaglite, stoked you enjoyed the video. Yeh she dont like straightening up when getting a bit loose over logs, took a while to get use to that. Thanks again for the kind words.
Nice work with the bush pig. I sure miss mine. Rode it like a dirt bike too when I was in between bikes. Rack up 55,000 miles on it. There’s nothing out there quite like it. I may have to get another.
Pity they have the trucks in there tearing the trees down now. Couldn't follow some of the track and ended going backwards. Wanted to find the big tyre setup
@@SKIDSnSTUFF I’ve ridden all over the southwest hitting single trails etc, never seen pikesville. I’m taking a punt and saying it’s up closer to Perth aye. Mint looking track

True, but it does show what a DR650 is capable of...
or worse - lay down lots of hard cash for a trick KTM690 and be disappointed they can't do what this guy on the bush pig can do
