@@Donslife when overlapping pieces does the edge not show on the pieces that under the top piece? Thanks
@@xijordyixxijordyix4392 yes overlapping pieces will show a line, but depending on colors used it may not look bad. I tried no over lapping on my latest camo wrap but it takes more time cutting pieces to fit together better.

Did you overlap any of the shapes or are they cutwhere they meet? Had envisioned something similar. From a distance it looks amazing. Wondering how the overlap if any looks up close.
Hi Raul, I did some overlap and same cut together so they fit seamless. Honestly the overlap was fine to look at up close. When drying the car after a wash, I just needed to be careful in a few spots (especially points). I am thinking of doing this to my new truck soon. I miss it now that my M4 is a full wrap.

Do you think a 6ft x5ft total roll of vinyl wrap would be enough for this?
Probably close. I did use two colors. Gloss black and matte charcoal metallic. Cut all of you pieces first before applying
How well does it stay on though? I had some decals on my car that after a few washes started peeling, how has this held up so far?
It lasts fine if all the vinyl was post heated for maximum adhesion. For wand style pressure washing it is recommended that you spray straight on the surface and not at an extreme angle. When hand washing, pick a cloth or sponge that won't catch the sharp points. I use a synthetic chamois to dry too. My latest camo wrap is even crazier and I have had very little with issues.
Follow on question....😂 where did you come up with the shapes? That's the most difficult part i think. I'm sure having small pieces is easier than trying to wrap a full panel.
I made completely random shapes and had one of my daughters help so we had more
variety. I also kept all the similar sizes in piles so all of the shapes gradually got bigger towards the back. I recommend printing pictures first and draw shapes on the paper. You’ll know pretty quickly which shapes look good and which don’t
Is there a video with a list of the materials you used? After the alcohol to dry it out I’m guessing just heat gun and squeegee?

bro i need help getting my charger gt wraped in this similar style can you help me i want to do the front but i dont know much should i get its 53 inches by x {x as in how many feet} how many feet should i get i was thinking like 53 inches by 5 feet is enough
First you’ll need a couple colors. I had black and charcoal matte. I used maybe 5ft x 5ft of each color. I just did a new camo wrap too on the channel!

5x5 is 25 square feet. Five 1x1 is only 5 square feet which will only do the bumper. At a minimum I would order 15 sheets of 1x1 Some of the pieces at the back of the car were 1x1 approximately
How much vinyl would you need for it i have a 3 series bmw and id like to go on the cheaper side
Not that much depending on how you cut you patterns. Maybe 5-6 feet of each color. Most material is 5 feet wide already. So 25-30sq ft of each color. Maybe even less

**The only question I have is sense it’s a partial wrap, is it safe for a automatic car wash or should I hand clean it and if I hand clean it, should I avoid the wrap and just wash the car?

Cool! I would wash it by hand a few times first so you can test some of your edges. You always want to be careful not to lift an edge. I never use automatic washes, so I can't guarantee anything there.

How's it holding?
Great until I wrapped the car 2 more times. The wrap never failed me. You do have to be careful how you wash it is on the pointy corners. You have to try not to snag them
