I don't know much about Diane Feinstein since I live in the midwest. I did see a news clip of her when some high school students visited her office. That was sometime last year I think. When the students asked her some questions (courteously) she was kind of rude and obnoxious to them. I was quite surprised that a senator would conduct herself in that manner. It was also disturbing to see aides telling her to vote aye when her name was called for a vote. Made me wonder who the actual senator was.

While I find the national trend to diss older people in the workplace simply for being old disturbing, I DO think there should be term limits in Congress. I don't think the founders intended for U.S. representatives to be a career. I don't know much about Diane Feinstein since I live in the midwest. I did see a news clip of her when some high school students visited her office. That was sometime last year I think. When the students asked her some questions (courteously) she was kind of rude and obnoxious to them. I was quite surprised that a senator would conduct herself in that manner. It was also disturbing to see aides telling her to vote aye when her name was called for a vote. Made me wonder who the actual senator was.

While I find the national trend to diss older people in the workplace simply for being old disturbing, I DO think there should be term limits in Congress. I don't think the founders intended for U.S. representatives to be a career. There may be exceptions but the reasons that brought them in fades when it becomes a job, and they inevitably vote for job preservation instead of the work they came in originally to do.
