What’s sad is that she kept being re-elected to that nursing home we call the Senate. We should have term limits for both houses of Congress because of these greedy, selfish, power-hungry people. Mortality shouldn’t have to be the end of their careers. Because FDR didn’t bow out, an amendment was made. We need to push a similar provision for the legislative and executive branches of government. Perhaps a maximum age cap and routine cognitive tests are in order.
