My heart goes out to Julian (the most beautiful man ever) because he has lost a very dear friend. Paul is a huge loss to us all but especially to Julian - and, of course, Paul's husband, his daughter, his grandchildren and all of his other close friends. He really will be so very much missed.
This unscripted display of classic British wit and gloriously stealthy pre-watershed double-entendres was exactly what I wanted to see before I made my way to school. 👍🏻 R.I.P. Paul O'Grady & Lily Savage
i remember him doing this for a short time, went well before his time. I remember him mothballing Lily Savage a few years later. It would have been nice for him to have brought Lily back for one off interview.
I've been looking at him and as Lily he's great, but as himself Paul O'Grady and being so good with dogs, he was a true star. I could watch him over and over working his magic on neglected dogs☘️🇮🇪🐕
Came here after the very sad news of the death of Paul O'Grady.... Paul/Lily was part of my awakening around the pubs of London before Paul was truly famous. Thank you for posting this. Sending love
Julian Clary is so beautiful. I remember seeing him on television when I was a kid (in the 80’s). I was transfixed at just how beautiful he was. I never knew it at the time but seeing him would shape and influence my own journey in life, finding my feet and embracing my own femininity despite being Male. Nice to see him still look so beautiful years later too.
These two are great dog lovers. Paul, Julian, please do a dog programme featuring both of you. I just love both of you, and love animals too. Especially dogs.
What is so nice to see is growing up with this , I was 5 at the time I had no idea just how progressive this show was, Being 29 now openly gay, Its hard to actually say that no breakfast show would be this open about gay bars, celebs coming out and being positive about it. I miss the 90s
I wish we had a breakfast programme like this now, instead of the doom and gloom we get from the breakfast shows now. It was even better if you were on holiday or off sick from work watching something as entertaining as this.
I remember seeing him on tv as a small child and I was mesmerised by his beauty. He inspired me to grow in to an androgynous being and to embrace beauty and femininity
@@AmaanStorm and you clearly succeeded in becoming just that my friend my god you are stunningly beautiful...i would imagine you also have the personality to match your beauty amaan, stay blessed and beautiful and true dear heart sending you love n hugs xx jase x
My sister emigrated to America and had never seen Julian, until she came back over on holiday and showed her some episodes of 'Sticky Moments'. She said he was the most beautiful man she'd ever seen, and found him hilarious.
I loved the big breakfast.I was off work for 6 months I used to set my alarm for 6am to watch it, then supermarket sweep after it, then go back to bed till lunchtime 😂😂
Diversity was embraced then, not sure what happened but after the noughties things have gone backwards. Maybe some ppl were hiding their opinions but now some ppl are proud to be racist and homophobic.
Julian Is absolutely such a stunning looking guy . I so so love him and always will . He's such a neat person, I'd love to spend an hour with him because I know he would make me laugh and laugh but he would also make me feel young again.
How gay can you get before 8am!?!
That much gay. How's yer dad, Gayham?
ppotter old! Hopefully he'll die soon and I'll get some money off him.
Let's hope so, then you can give the world more sage advice on gaying. PLEASE DO!!!!
Not gay enough!

RIP Paul O'Grady (aka Lily Savage) 1955 - 2023, you will be surely missed. The world has lost a true Legend.
Such a sad loss. Very talented.
Indeed.😢
I miss these days, the 90’s. This kind of thing rightly made me appreciate drag and camp humour, 2 incredibly talented people love them both!
Imagine this these days😂
Bigots didn't have a medium to spread their hate in the 90's.
Fantastic! I can’t believe this was the breakfast show though. 😂 it’s like we’ve gone back to the Victorian times in 2023 😂😂😂

This clip is really a piece of history. Lovely to see. RIP Paul.
Back here after today's news. Paul being Lily on breakfast tv was amazing. RIP Paul.
Whoever had the idea to get these two together to do this interview is a genius.
They could have presented their own show, imagine them doing This Morning ❤

Why these two didn't collaborate more baffles me.
I presume this was filmed before that guy died in Barrymore's hottub…
They are bantering together now in the pantomime goldilocks and the three bears Christmas 2019
Lily Savage as a comic creation is pure genius.
I feel sorry for these young people who didn't think there weren't major drag performers in this country before RuPaul's Drag Race came along!
Paul as Lily, incredibly funny. Thank you 🎩
I just love how successful she got for that time and then as Paul had a really long amazing career he was just one of those rare talents
RIP Paul. I remember when watching morning tv was more risqué than after the watershed! So happy I grew up in the 90’s.
This never gets old. Love watching it.
