Nice to see Julian sitting with Alan & Jack Dee, two guys who know and respect him as a comedy legend. He is very softly spoken, very gentle and witty. Awesome guy. I lived near him for a while. Genuinely the most polite man I’ve ever met.
people in their sixties love to just drop an insane and troubling traumatic event from their young life and then laugh while you just sit there listening making this face o_o
Because this is the only way we know.I told my husband about what I thought was my totally normal family, and he got the look on his face you described. We didn't talk about truma because no one cared.
That was a very upsetting story, even though Jack and Julian tried to add a couple funny buttons to it. That club is basically on the opposite end of the city to Harlem - it would be terrifying to wake up that out of place even as a local. Sounds like he was left for dead 😢
Julian is adorable! Reminds me of a cross between Will Young and John Cameron Mitchell. Found out that he briefly worked as a singing telegram from a program. However, if you look up him “singing”, he cannot sing for shit at all, but he’s so loveable that you forgive him for it.
Well done for expressing indignation for him. Try to learn that something can be bad and funny at the same time. It's very useful to be able to cope with more than 1 idea at a time
@@bbbb98765 Let me guess: you have never been sexual assaulted. It's traumatic. No part of it is funny. Julian wasn't full of mirth telling his story, either.
As a woman I had to stop the video halfway through because NOPE. I genuinely do not understand how some people can be okay with something like that happening to a man just because they're a man.

Love Julian. He's a sweetheart. He's so deep and graceful but outrageous. ❤❤
He talks about male grooming drugged and sexual abuse but this is what you comment about 🤷🏻♂️
Perfectly summed up!
@@leonbell5141Yes, so what is your problem with that?

I miss Julian, he’s such a wonderful spirit, and a natural comedian.
He's gonna be on the new series of Taskmaster
He’s alive! And how we laughed when he was on Taskmaster!
Adore him 😊
He's honest, very tricky to be so in the public eye!
Norman Lamont brought me here
🤛
was Norman Lamont not the chancellor of the exchequer in charge of all our money?
Wow that was some story 😂
He takes some risks 😜
Great story teller...I can see why he writes books!
I miss Julian, where has he gone?😳🌺🌼🌺🌼🌺
He broke cover to do Taskmaster this year, and was duly hilarious as you'd expect

Less of a recreational drug and more a fast-travel point…
So he was sexually assaulted 😩
Self inflicted.
@@dragonsdynamite6403How can a sexual assault be self-inflicted you complete imbecile
The New York nightclub name is not exactly on the subtle side lol 😆
I feel like Jack Dee took the funny out of that story
And your father was a Bobby and he also knows how to say yes.
Sorry but I didn't find that funny at all. He was basically sexually assaulted.

What’s the difference between sexual assault and basic sexual assault in court?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's one heck of an anecdote, but suppose a woman had said this happened to them-this would have been horrifying rather than entertaining.
I was completely horrified by Julian's story.

So what's the moral of the story?
To memorise the number for a taxi and all the postcodes of your local carparks
That meth isn't all bad
That saying 'yes' to everything is a terrible, and dangerous idea.
