Hi from Louisiana! I just found your video, and I am blown away by all your cute vintage items. The way you have everything displayed is very tasteful and welcoming! I love pink also! My sincere sympathies on the loss of your sweet Grandmother. It sounds like she was a very special lady, and that she had a very wonderful influence on your life. Thank you for sharing this, it made my day! 🌸 Meline
OMG I have been waiting for this video! 😍😭 I love your pyrex collection, I'm hoping to find some of those or some of their starburst dishes! So sorry for your loss Emelyne, you're in my prayers! 🙏🏼💞
We had that same recipe box growing up. It's from the 70's I'm pretty sure. If I'm not mistaken it was like a subscription type thing . The first month you got the box and all the cards that divide the sections and then each month you got in the mail the recipe cards to fill a section till you had the whole collection. Ours was orange and yellow. If I remember correctly there was a recipe card for some stained glass cookies that I was in love with.
OMG my favorite piece in your collection is that glass cup set with the caddy from the country living Fair OMG its just so adorable. I love the way they made those caddy sets. Your Pyrex collection is amazing and then its PINK my favorite color LOL :-) I just love all your precious pieces and I appreciate the love you have for those old vintage pieces. I was born in 1955 and Oh how I miss those days. I'm currently trying to collect vintage pieces now, Oh if only I had kept mine LOL. My condolences on your loss my dear, new subbie here , Jane
If you use rolls of tape (the big ones from like staples) you can use them to put inside the pyrex so that the bowls are separated at different heights and you are able to see them better!
I don't know if I described the tape very well lol but it is kind of the brownish tape? If that makes sense! It fits the bottom of the bowls so perfectly so they don't rock or move! :)
You are a girl after my own heart. My first apartment was shabby chic, and filled with vintage things! It was super girly. Happy memories. I was also very close to my grandma. I have a lot of her things out around the house. Thank you so much for sharing. God Bless you.
Your videos make me so happy!!! I don't know many people who have the same appreciation for vintage things as I do. Your Pyrex collection is my favorite :) I too have a growing Gooseberry collection. Keep up the great videos.
I love your Pyrex! I'd never seen it in pink. I'll have to start hunting for the pink. I love vintage also. Thank you for sharing 😊. So sorry about your grandmother. It's wonderful how many things you have of hers to always cherish.
My condolences on your loss of your beloved Grandmother. I love the little man jelly jar, the creepy girl cookie jar and the birds salt & pepper shakers.
Beautiful kitchen Emelyne! And I'm sorry about your grandma ♡ much love to you at this time. I know this year is challenging for you but stay strong! There is light ahead ♡ you are an amazing person!
Emelyne im so sorry about your grandma because my grandma passed 6 years ago when i was 7 of breast cancer and it still hurts me. i know how it feel sand im so so so so so so so so so sorry...:( at least she is in a better place...love youuuu!
Don't worry I know how you feel, my nanny died about a month ago. It's so hard to get over such a unfortunate thing that's happened to your loved ones I'm so sorry it's had to happen to you and the hardest thing is that my grandad is now on his own as he is still alive and pretty healthy. My nanny was always the one who would look after my grandad but cancer stuck her way too quickly and she could no longer fight her battle I miss her so much and was so close to her and I'm sure you were very close to you nan too! I wish is could have met your nan she sounds like such a nice lady!
I know that feeling. It's very sad to lose loved ones, and I've been through that a few times before. I was close to my grandma too. She passed away in 2001, when I was 12. But, at least I remember the good times with them and have some stuff to remember them by, like photos, videos, and a cute red comfy fleece Christmas sweater with three angels of diverse races on it; One of which kinda looks like me with blonde hair, that my grandma handed down to me. It's still in good condition, because it's only worn during December and the stitching is very strong. I also like similar vintage stuff to you, and the color pink and those salt and pepper shakers are adorable . I would like to decorate part of my future place like that, even though it's kind of rare for a young person to like old stuff. I like a mix of both old and and modern things, by the way. But, I say enjoy whatever you want and don't care what others think in cases like this. I'm planning on decorating my living room like an old fashioned movie theater with modern technology mixed in , since I love movies (both old and new) and thought it would be a fun and cute idea. I picture adding posters from my favorite old movies, like West Side Story and The Wizard of Oz for example, and a working popcorn cart, etc. I also want a modern/retro kitchen which is reminiscent of a 50's-60's diner complete with a jukebox that plays either CD's but still has an old look or records. I'm going to have to save a lot of money for those things.
My grandma (we called her Gaggy) passed away a little while back as well, she was my best friend and who I aspire to be always. I will be praying for you and your family through this time of mourning and remembering all of the lovely times you had with her. My Gaggy always said through any trial we faced, especially through her battle with breast cancer, "strength for the journey is given as you go, we will get through this with the love of our Lord and family". You will gain strength through time, hug your loved ones close and cherish each moment, remember all of the things about her that filled your heart with joy. What a blessing it is to have had such a special woman love you so deeply, I know she is proud of you and waiting to squeeze you tight again one day! God bless! 💗
Glad to see you back. Very sorry to hear about your loss. I was close to my nonna too. Give yourself time. Love your kitchen. I'd love to see more of your tea ware.
I love Pyrex and started collecting the blue butter print but found out the paint used on the outside of the bowls contains an extreme amount of lead. I’m not telling anyone they shouldn’t collect it but I would definitely advise not eating out of or storing food in them! Especially if you have kids!
I love your kitchen wares. I always wanted to get vintage kitchen wares, but then I forgot. Now I have a whole set of modern kitchen ware. Maybe someday I will slowly change out my dishware.
I am sorry to hear about your grand ma, love your collection, where did you find your dishes, i grew up with some of those, when my ma die, everything was given away, and i wasn't there get anything. I hope you continues collecting. Thanks
Enjoyed ur video. I love the momento of your grandma's recipe. There is a shop on Etsy called 3DCarving that can duplicate it on a cutting board. That way u can tuck the original away for years to come. Much success to your channel.
Oh Em it kills me to see how sad you are... I can tell you're not your regular set, but that is to be expected. You've been through a lot, so take your time on videos. Love you ❤️
Our house when we first moved to Florida that was built in the 60's had a pink kitchen and pink bathroom. The other bathroom was blue. The other houses in our neighborhood had either the pink, blue or yellow kitchens and bathrooms. The pale shades. Even the frig was pink.
I know this is a couple years old lol, but where did/do you keep your food? That is my problem. I can’t collect nice things in my kitchen because then I’d have no place for out food lol
Hello, I love the Pyrex Gooseberry. My mother received some for her wedding in 1961, so it is from that timeframe. I would love to see your teacup collection. I must have missed it in your video, but it appears that you have been bereaved. I am very sorry for your loss.
I see these all the time when I go to the Goodwill's and not Salvation Army but they're the brown ones or the light white light ones sometimes I'll see the pinks ones
i would LOVE to see your collection of vintage cookbooks! they look so interesting.
why cant people still make cute things like that these days😕☕🌸✨
They do, but it can be SO expensive 😭
Japanese stuff tends to be cutesy. I think that's why people love it.
Fondues and souffles were also big in the60's and 70's. Thanks for the fun walk down the memory lane of my childhood..
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother em, I went through the same thing a few months ago. Stay strong 💖 you look gorgeous!

mamie Eisenhower the FLOTUS of the 50's loved pink and that is why so many kitchens were designed that way then.
