man him realizing if he kills the dryad to level up he can take the other units in the middle of the map is INSANE awareness. gheez
if your gonna do life drain dark ranger as NE, you should probably go Keeper with entangle second hero to keep them pinned down so you can actually life drain for more than 1 second; then get PotM 3rd hero. your BM escaped about 30 times in scenarios where entangle would have killed you or made you TP away
He would have played differently with a kotg 2nd, I'm sure, but yes that would be a better combo

on that note, why does keeper see barely any play? i dont see him at all in grubbies games and from what i remember (20years ago x)) he was a pretty solid pick.
he got nerfed pretty hard, but he still sees play. summons are the end all be all

Truly a legendary duel of fates and styles. Grubby on Off-race human rushing BM with Moon on the CLASSIC Dark Ranger Life-drain into POTM harass.
Moon was later quoted in an interview "I haven't read the official WC3 strategy guide - no way could I know MG with tree was big pp counter to this tank unit. Never before have I seen it even"

Hey Grubby i have an idea. Lets try blood mage lvl 6 and then chop a tree near enemy base to constantly harass enemy with reborning phoenix in that spot.

Great stuff from the opponent, but even greater skill show from Grubby, these out-meta games played by such good players are moonchocolate (found within the roots of his last AoW)
I like that Sky style ( just build farm everywhere, even in their base).

After all, his base is supposedly empty of units, after he had just attacked Grubby's?

Grubby, when explaining pathing it might be best if you open up world editor and show it there. You can toggle the display of the path map grid which makes it extremely clear what can be pathed or not.
Pink blocks = unpathable
Blue blocks = unbuildable, but pathable
Units with less than 32 radius (footmen, peasants, ghouls, etc) can move in a one block gap, but other units need a 2 block gap to pass through.
Man, as fun as the strategy is, that Dark Hunter harass almost stole the show!

My favorite thing to do against noobs is Level 3 flame strike, level 3 blizzard and level 3 meteor rain on their entire army and then watching them leave the game because they don’t know how to run away from it
