Heisenberg here!
Was awesome to be cast by you Grubby 😄 Started playing because of you.
The build is from your HH Bloodust build on YT
Poorly implemented obviously 🤣...
Can't believe I forgot Berserker upgrade for so long. Didn't feel that long during the game
And to everyone, I started playing WC3 for the first time since childhood 2 months ago.
W3 Champions is so much fun. Go and do it!!!
Lost about 20 games b4 winning for the first time. So don't be afraid :)
Super solid game!!! You will climb MMR for sure if you keep playing like that 🤓
Hey, nice performance!
@@HeisenZerg-zu6rm Cool dude 😊!
Nice game! I just started playing for the first time since I was 10, is w3c more fun than bnet? And if so, why?
The best part was 15:30, I think he didn't even command his army to attack ... it became day, they got increased vision and then attacked the building themselves.
We attack at dawn!!
The ghoul was already attacking the building so he had vision. Unless a unit's aggro range is based only on their own personal vision range and not your entire team?
well spotted!
Bronze League is where you get players called 'Liam' and 'Ben', like it's your local pub. As soon as you hit Silver you become xX_Drag0nSlaYeR_69_Xx.
14:54 sws masterfully notices the amateurish placement of farms that aren't properly placed in a linear pattern, and takes advantage of it! amazing...
I think its really nice how you notice sub-optimal things/decisions and strive to make sense of them, setting yourself in the players mind in order to understand, rather than ridiculing or degrading their playstyle.
Really makes this series fun and engaging to watch, especially because I'm sure I would have made those wrong decisions if it were me in the game
Honestly this makes me want to play base WC3 again. I mostly played custom games for the last 15 years, including custom RTSs so my techniques aren’t terrible, but always thought I’d get absolutely destroyed by everyone on ladder. These games make me think that actually I could learn and improve with people that aren’t all way better than me which is unexpected
Passing each other like sheep in the night was such a low key straight faced hilarious statement for these two
Bronze league is where 6k salary CEOs shine, while others struggle in higher tiers
6 figures u mean 😁
@@uyhawirtno no, he means 6k. It is a reference to one of grubby old vids. Search 6k salary.
Maybe someone gets 6k a month but lives in a low cost country. That guy can still go around like a king
@@lobomalsano 6k dollars a month is a lot even in high cost countries.
@@AnimeCritical then i dont get the context of that 6k joke
22:00
Lol this is awesome
The reason why I am still Bronze 🤣
Never seen such excitement in a pro game. 😂
There's an essay to be written about how self-expression in videogames - as in the pretty ziggurat patterns - has non-zero value and it takes the acid of repeated exposure to raw competitive forces to break people of it.
See this is what I don't like about video games. They appeal to the female fantasy
exactly this makes me abandon ranked or game all together... its acid
@@Aiveq Without being too pretentious about it - it's kind of just how learning under maximisation/optimisation works, I guess?
The thing about competitive games is that you are implicitly saying "I am giving up control over how my actions are rewarded in order to learn an external structure" - it's literally a different choice of reward function. When playing by yourself you have way more freedom, which is cool, but I think a lot of people don't realise that there really is a huge difference in approach there and it's pretty brutal feeling if you don't explicitly acknowledge your approach has to be different.
The sad part about this is how many people view competitive play as explicitly "the next step" in how you play any game - like once you've done the solo play stuff competition is the next level up, and automatically the desirable way to go. Lots of things aren't fun under intense competition; and for quite a lot of bronze players what you're probably seeing is people who are emphasising the *play* part of competitive play and deliberately ignoring a chunk of the win/loss feedback to keep the freedom.
It's all quite interesting I think. As I've got older I've definitely found having a more deliberate sense of what I expect from myself when I play multiplayer games is helpful - am I playing to really optimise and be as good as possible, or am I just playing to enjoy the interaction with another player - and there's obviously a sliding scale between the two (think of very good players who deliberately use pet sub-optimal strategies/heroes in various genres), so it's not binary.
Videogames are cool tho
@@Aiveq A good well designed game makes sure the two are in relative harmony...where self-expression is reasonably aligned with competitive actions. It'll never be perfect though.
@@lukusridley single players games like Soul/ike, Darkest Dungeon, X-Com fall into high end of that. bad actions or suboptimal turns punish you brutally. its good games but at some point i am getting bored from how limited by choices are
19:35 I'm never going to say "I'm sure" again when it comes to bronze.
Lesson learned 😂😂😂😂
“Heisenberg, he’s cooking.”
Accidental breaking bad reference?
This is amazing, hilarious, dramatic and entertaining. Great games and great casting 💖
15:59 What the heck, write that down, that's how you keep your expos safe. Literally no counter. It's the triple series defence towers.
The utter chaos along with your commentary had me in stitches in that second game
all RTS content always comes back to the bronze players. they truly are any game's heart.
@26:00 thanks for the effort keeping a stright face 🤣
I love your commentary awesome content man
that video was hilarious , thank you !
the pauses
the PAUSES in shock fuggin kill me lmao
kinda felt bad for that undead on 2nd game, he really looks like a beginner just feeling things out
@21:54
Happy could never
the level of sarcasm casting is insane
I really like this series. It would be easy for you to be condescending, but you're not. You have good advice, praise their good plays, and it's overall really fun to watch
This bronze league series are great! It makes my fingers itch to try warcraft 3 multiplayer. I have completed the campaign a few times, but never tried multiplayer. Somehow ended up watching your vids only a few months ago and it only confirmed my feelings as i would never be able to keep up. But it seems you do not have to be a world champion to play it :P
13:55 it’s more vulnerable to sappers, but I can see where the idea comes from: the lesser area of contact. The enemy can’t fully surround the building that way, and considering most of the human forces were melee, this is kinda smart.
this is the best series grubby has ever done
I'm loving these videos. Grubby's narrative is the best. 🤣
Let me break down the big bank and slow tech reasoning.
I believe it’s because they think:
“Teching too early puts me at a disadvantage resource wise, if I get attacked I won’t have money to pay for units. So I now I must accumulate resources so I have enough to tech and pay for units if I need”
I really loved this commentary. I should watch bronze heroes more often. Damn, I just notice why Warcraft 3 is so noob friendly. It's not as complex as StarCraft, plus... heroes are cooler, and more fun.
22:00 the hype that Grubby felt in this moment
tbh i felt that too
what a clutch XD
This is more entertaining than watching the META
Bronze league an awesome series, hope you will continue making it
Heisenberg was actually really strong for below 800 MMR!
I love these but I do with we could hear from the players what their thinking was. Hearing how they conceive of the game or their plans vs what actually happened would be fascinating
Love this series, very entertaining!
Grubby you are the Best. Do we get more Bronze legue Games ? :) grüsse
Thanks! And yes, I have more coming :D
hey Grubby, your casting is very funny and entertaining. You are laughing at their actions and decisions but still respect them as players. Very nice👍 more plz!
I will not miss any bronze league video lol
I don't even play WC3 and I absolutely love these new series! I also liked a lot when you applied the strats to your own games. Would you make a smurf account and encounter those players? Anyway thx for the vids!
1st cheese gets the mouse
can't get enough of these bronze league heroes videos
I think people liked Headhunter+Wyverns because they shared upgrades, so to their mind, it's more "efficient" to focus on units your upgrades hits. It's why I used to go Fiends+Destroyers+Gargoyles
Bronze League are the most fun! love it! thanks grub!
Love this series. Fwiw I like the ones in which you show two matches over ones in which you show one match then try to replicate/improve on the builds, because we get to see more games and commentary this way :).
Watching fledglings trying their best is so inspiring
Grubby playing / commenting on Happy vs Lyn pleasure level: moderate
Grubby commenting bronze league: literal orgasm at 21:59
this bronze content is so amazing, I can't get enough
Love this bronze league series!!!
No peasants or acolytes have been harmed during the shooting of this footage😂😂😂
These are just too good. Please keep bringing more and grubby you should learn from them.
When you said “run Jimmy” to the ghoul was that a reference to the stratholme mini boss Jimmy ghoul in WoW?
He probably meant Timmy, who originated from the Warcraft 3 ROC human campaign as a boy turned later into a ghoul. But, interestingly, I believe he’s the only ghoul who is neutral and thus won’t attack you suggesting he has some memory of you and being a human.
You’re right Timmy makes an appearance in WoW too - both as a boy (in Stormwind) and as Timmy the Cruel in Stratholme, suggesting he’s now lost any semblance of his humanity.
Thanks Grubby 😂❤
Without your commentary wouldn't be that good
Svs’ units really had a mind of their own, lich was quite stubborn about coming to fights without orb and the abominations and crypt fiend group showed up late but luckily found the main group by accident later on. Truly amazing.
This series is very fun to watch.
Now I wish I will see Grubby copy a his strategy and keep killing his opponent's farm and then leave.
this is WILDLY entertaining.
"Fedor" is probably a Russian name "Fyodor" which is a slavic form of "Theodor". So this nickname probably means "Theodor the Dominator"
Actually no
@@fodedordegatas1081What part of my comment is a "no" exactly?
@@Grimbago chill Karen it's just my opinion
18:28 fuk yeah sigma scourge grindset
This is epic.... best content xD
It is the best standup content I've ever watched ≈D
I approve the single farm by the woods to get closer to nature
Maaaan I laugh about it but when I start playing my microm looks the same 😅.
That one had so many hilarious moments 🤣
Bro, ur comments are brilliant 😂
Even when match up goes to totally c.rap with no sense 😅
22:00 was insane! so good
As someone who never really played much online multiplayer some of what those people do and know is actually impressive considering they are at the bottom of mmr.
I wish I could hear grubby critique my games 20 years ago lol
whirlpool 37°C,
cold german beer,
grubby on youtube,
everything is fine!
1:50 ???
I guess Grubby doesn't really pay much attention to HU base layouts or hasn't seen them next to each other horizontally as much as vertically?
Those are both full wall-offs (the farm next to the barracks AND the farm next to the altar are built as close as possible), so no, a hero definitely could not fit in the gaps.
22:00 Grubby cheering more for this bronze league player killing a level 1 hero than he would if the Netherlands scored in the world cup final xD
These are so fun :D
ahaha i laughed so much
thank you!
3:04 must put ziggurats in front. Understood. Thanks for the advice 🙈
Looks like it's back to the haberdashery for Fedorminator
Hello from Brazil Grubby ^^
This makes me want to play w3. I really haven't played for like 15 years.
These are so fun
That last ork was good
What a crazy game 2!
Death Pact after killing the Far Seer in game 2 would've been so good.
19:48 breaking b(L)ad(e)
I think Fedorminator name is in reference to Fedor Emelianenko.
We need bronze league bingo
Soon he's gonna be out of the Headhunter with Far Seer -> TC business and into the empire business
”Sheep in the night”
I'm not sure if 1st, 2nd or 37487387th degree joke at this point, and I'm afraid to ask. That second game was so wild
I mean, I really like my castle to be like those in the movies so I just rush tier 3
I appreciate the effort to not sound arrogant. You do still sound arrogant tho.
Hey guys, Grubby mentioned a game on a (maybe not so) recent video that I can't seem to find anywhere. It's supposed to be a game where a pro player possesses a worker unit with a banshee, build a base with that worker and goes on to win the game. Anyone know that game?
"with that barracks, i'm sure its gonna be farseer"
famous last words
edit: jokes on me, i paused and laughed only to find out he cancelled BM and got FS 3 seconds later
17:58 So kinda like Oddjob?
This is nuts.
YOU ATE MY SANDWICH, THE MOIST MAKER!!!!!!!!!!
Bronze tacticts tier list when?
I'm gonna start W3 again just to get casted by Grubby.
omg pink death knight is so pretty
Tier 3 = more HP on your worker production building
Nice
More bronze league videos!
dying seeing this match
I wish i could play WarCraft 3 Champions just to break Grubbys brain by doing the unthinkable plays lol i would try to agro pesants to build a haunted goldmine in my oppoents base thrn slowly try to take over there base without trying to destroy anyt of there buildings lol
