That was one of the best Bladestorms ever. 4v4 is so fun since we can see our favourite Ults a lot more. Gg. Also, fair play to the NE player that used Force of Nature in a super clever way in the last part and spawned the treants behind enemy ranks. I felt that caught them off guard at beggining of final battle.
I always felt that Mirror Image was underrated, but mostly IMO because of its mana cost. It's quite expensive, but playing against it in the campaign, I also know how frustrating it can be to play against. So perhaps a reduction in mana cost for the exchange of an increase in cooldown.
The problem is, if you need a mini tank you have wolves, while Blademaster is mainly used for it's windwalk. There's simply not a lot of scenario where Mirror Image is comparably more useful.
@@kevin-7091 the thing is, micro is way worse in large 4v4 battles. So stuff like healing wards, ults like tranquility, mirror image become much more useful. The enemy cannot clearly distinguish these things in a packed and tight space, so you end up getting a lot of use out of it (see that Grubby avoided breath of fire with mirror once, and how much the mirror images kept dying because the enemy units kept dealing damage to them). Every time a mirror image takes a hit, it's a hit that would have normally gone to your real, useful heroes.
Have been really enjoying 4v4 and random hero games lately. I hope we can someday combine both to have a 4v4 random hero game. Imagine the saltiness of certain players... I can already taste it. :D
Yes, but they can also be rezzed by the Spirit Walkers, so killing a tauren while being unable to kill the spirit walkers behind them accomplishes very little. And as you can see, Grubby always goes for 2-3 spirit walkers first before going for tauren. This is because they also give spirit link and can disenchant(aoe dispel). Overall, a very powerful unit.
I've always wondered why mirror image wasn't used more often. I think it's also good against human if they are disabling you with the bloodmage's banish and siphon mana. I can't wait to try this out myself!
Yeah. Or good vs dh mana burn since he won't know which to burn instantly, and good against bolt or any other spells which aren't instant hit since can also dodge using it. It's a decent spell, just that cost too much mana and the other orc heroes spells are just much better. Along with wind walk being imba from the start and critical the essential spell that must be picked.
Hey are those riders with the nets a good unit? I mean how can i manage the micro to catch each enemy minion with it and control my hero at the same time its too much to manage xd
At least you already have your multitasking and hotkey thing practiced. I'm trying to learn playing melee in warcarft 3 since some time and I'm still struggling to use hotkeys properly lmao. Guess I just wasn't born to play multiplayer RTS
@@krzysztofputerko1943 you should look into the keybinding settings where you can customize them. you need to mess around with the file folders to get it right. but you can set up everything to QWER keybinds, if that makes sense. wc3 is difficult compared to sc2 i think.
@@johnsterling5425 oh I didn't know it's possible to make custom keybinds. Thank you very much. I think warcraft is harder to learn because of many atypical mechanics for an RTS game(upkeep system, heroes and creep camps etc.) However I feel like once you feel quite more confident with that, starcraft actually becomes harder to master due to much larger army sizes which force player to have much higher APM if he wants to play competitively.
Yeah in this game it seems the Blade's total damage was higher, since he could stay in melee range longer (rather than running away and losing dps). Not to mention, the more hits the blademaster soaks the fewer hits go onto other units
I must ask why is it cringe to focus fire hero? I sometimes result to doing this tactic because it forces them back , and sometimes with good communication you can just nuke a hero, and bitch slap them back into oblivion.
Not like it's never the right play, but it's a bit "cheesy" in that if it doesn't actually kill the hero then the missing damage to their armies can tip the fight to their favor (as they kill your army in the meantime). Also feels bad when it happens to you so people will complain, but it's also generally safer/'better' to kill armies first unless they really blunder their hero positioning. Armies are really expensive compared to heroes, etc. If they have TP then hero focus is much worse, too, just resets the fight and taxes them some healing items.
I love how there is the one guy in chat that asks: "Is bladestorm effective?"
And then just says "Thank you, it's clear now."
I think those comments were from two different people (i.e. the "thank you, it is clear now" was referring to something else). Still funny though xD
"Don't control my wyverns, I don't need help", proceeds to lose wyvern to creeps...
Lmao
Plottwist: losing his wyrms was his goal from the start :D

That bladestorm: *chef kiss
*Blademaster:* The hour of doom approaches! Let this paltry sacrifice appease our demon masters!
*Grubby:* Whoa, Calm down Chad.
Imagine having over 1k comments on grubby's videos
@@slashslash92 Really? 1k? Awesome!
really loved your little intro with some first explanations of what we are about to see
Grubby’s passion will never die. An inspiration like an old artist always improving.
I love the explanation at the beginning and also the use of the blade master. Been a huge fan of yours for years, keep up the great work!!
the intro was great, do that more often, salute from Brazil

mirror image seriously need a buff
It got buffed a few times, used to be 125, 110, 100, now 80

Wished the mirror image also dealt some dmg tho....
Mirror Image is such a great ability, I'm really glad you gave you it a nice shout out lmao
"the ends justify the means" or "justify the beans"

10:55 I guess he was freeing up food for Batriders.
Interesting, I enjoyed at the beginning the explanation and logical reasoning for mirror choice! Makes a lot of sense!
love the pregame summaries at the intro.
Those taurens of Grubbeard like a paper. Dying so fast when fight with the ud.

Claw + Crown + Vampiric Aura item + Orb + spider sock/Quel' Thalas boot = Op Blade.
Gigachad Blademaster indeed 💪
That orc with wyverns is playing sc2 lol
You are onto it Grub - loved this!
Blade with all those items AND spirit link and mirror image lol.
SPLASH AROUND IN HERE.
Grubsters PogChamp
grubbys micro never ceases to amaze me, I think im pretty decent at RTS but im nothing compared to grubby I think hes inhuman
Amazing intro man
wake up and new grub video, LFGGGGGG

Lok'tar Ogar!
I would love to see some gigachad Grom or Samuro fanart.
hi grubby, always supporting you
What are the keys to change the team colors ?
you make melee seem so fun. i'm decent at starcraft but really to struggle to understand wc3

Blademaster tank with health boosting items instead of damage seems to be better overall 🤔

I think it's because against orcs with spirit walkers, it's hard to get the nuke done.

Play FFA agains Grubb
Stay tuned, an FFA game is releasing tonight ;)
1vs1 matches should be around 30min or longer, 4vs4 should be an hour long, FFA hours. That's how I wish games to be
