      @@TitanBeats yes but that's because y'all be sitting there actually analysing the cube to get the fastest solution for the specific state the cube is in. This works as far as I know, every time though often not the fastest way.

    • @TitanBeats
      @TitanBeats 4 роки тому

      @@zaferoph well yes thats true for sub 10 second cubers since they literally cant spare the time to blink or else they will lose a possible PB
      cubers with sub 30 and higher normally do minimal analyzing (before solving check the first 4 moves (cross) and after cross there is NO analyzing no thinking either, its just seeing a pattern and doing the alg for that respective pattern (theres over 500 of them but most cubers only need to know 5-10 to get times under a minute, the more algs you know the easier certain situations are (one pattern could require 3 different algorithms, where as if you learn a different algorithm it could shorten it to one algorithm that is also smaller)

    • @zaferoph
      @zaferoph 4 роки тому +1

      @@TitanBeats oh yeah fair but tha still means you have to be kinda used to how the cube works. Personally, the method in the video is faster for me and I'm sure for anyone less familiar with solving a cube. I don't doubt that there are faster ways but I do doubt that there is any other way that is this simple that also sovles any state of a 3x3x3 cube. Maybe I'm wrong but this method exists for a reason.

      +Brmcarlcat 11 I honestly have tried to use this method but it doesn't teach anything. Many people won't be able to understand the F2L part. This song/rap wasn't meant to be informative it was meant to be cool. You should never solve the last layer on the bottom, you can't see it well. That's why you do the first layer on the top. I tried to remember his algs but I just couldn't. The 16 minute ones teach you notation instead of down bottom up.. None of the make sense. It shows you the algorithm and spends in depth time on the algs and different situations. It doesn't help more

      the rule has always been
      you have the CUBE
      the cube is comprised of CUBIES
      you have 3 types of CUBIES
      Type 1 : Center Cubies
      type 2 : Edge Cubies
      Type 3 : Corner Cubies
      DEFINITIONS (as we were taught back in the 80's)
      Center Cubies have ONLY 1 COLOUR
      Edge Cubies have ONLY 2 Colours
      Corner Cubies have ONLY 3 Colours
      so, yeah, the MIddle layer has no corner corner cubies
