This is a hard-rocking and very touching tribute to our David. Well done, Joe! (I also loved your tonefiend article about your adventures with Mr Bowie.)
Sorry, I just wanted to ask which PJ Harvey albums you played on? I wasn't aware you did so until I noticed several people replying with comments along the line of such. How about some more pedal DIY or links to such? keep it up, Tommo
Ok. That was great. F#¢k1ng great. Thank you. This really brightened up a gloomy morning (a gloomy July 4th in Iowa - surreal). Cajones Grande to do a Bowie cover.
Joe - looks like you drop-D a lot. Is it so you can use that power chord from you like so much (also on Pumped Up Kicks), or are there other reasons as well? It's a great sound - I first noticed it from Mr. Marr on Barbarism Begins At Home. And thanks for these. All your Heroes performances put a big lump in my throat, and make me bounce up and down at the same time.
Oh man! Sorry I mixed your question for a frickin’ YEAR! Partly it’s ‘cause drop-D tends to nudges you away from E- and A-shaped chords and toward C- and G-shaped ones, which I like. But the main reason is just … why not have more range? My current project is a set of 24 solo guitar pieces. (That’s why I haven’t been around much online.) At various points, the 6th string is tuned down to D, C, and B, One piece has that low B, but with the fifth string cranked to B as well, so you can play in octaves.
MAN I LOVE LITERALLY LOVE ALL THE VIDEOS YOU HAVE DONE.

this is a gem
Je l'écoute souvent au réveil quand je sens que mon énergie n'est pas centrée. Ce morceau interprété ainsi me répare😊. Le talent c'est magique !
You can tell when someone really means something.
