Hats of to sound engineer. Best yet Could actually hear Hester singing and her guitar work was brilliant. Rhian is brilliant wat a singer. Everyone in the band gives 100%.can't wait for there next album.
I came here to see if someone already credited the sound engineer, as this comment seems to appear on every live registration on youtube for this band ;-)
Superb. Four great songs. Audience must not have heard them much before as they didn’t join in on the ‘Excuse me?’ ‘What?’ to and fro exchanges. Audiences nowadays join in very loudly to shout ‘What?’ at the appropriate times.
I think it was the first time this radio station. Fun fact: Radio 2 is supposed to be the mainstream station for 30…60 years old, but they play more indie and alternative than 3FM which should play indie and alternative.
July 8, 2022 Maybe a week ago I clicked on a Wet Leg live video from Glastonbury. I'd never heard of them. As soon as the drummer and bass guitarist started, "Chaise Longue", I liked it. And thousands of audience members joined in on shouting, "WHAT?" 😊
No man, Punk is forever. The Sonics and The Velvet Underground were there in your time, it still lives. Punk however does not mix well with pop. Indie however, definitely!
@@iwantfizzypop thank you so much for clarifying that. Next time some tells me : you should smile more bc you look prettier when you smile, i will think of you and interpret it as: please cheer up, i care for your inner feelings and i would like you to feel better. Now i want something fizzy.
Like Oasis in their day they're way ahead of everything else ... And like Oasis as personalities I cant stand 'em!.....but then I,m old and don't like gratuitous trendy swearing.Plus their probably posh girls who actually do no more to challenge the man than Boris Johnson. And why would they?
I don't think they are overtly political. Their lyrics are generally about disenchantment with what life seems to offer young people - especially as they approach their thirties ( they are 28 and 29). They have made it clear they don't want what they do to be taken seriously - hence the band's dumb name. Rhian's parents are Merchant Navy and probably comfortably off. However at TRMT the keyboard player did say 'f*ck the tories' and the Scottish crowd chanted the same. I found it heartening that the BBC kept that in their transmission 👍

BNN always do an amazing job with the audio engineering. Their recording of Wolf Alice's "Giant Peach" is fantastic.
One of the best and most fun live bands on the scene right now. Gorgeous
there's only been a few rock stars i've "fallen in love" with... and rhian is definitely one of them.
Great band. Go Hester.
"We got too high eee ah eee ah eee!" ❄️🤣👌❄️
What a *fantastic* performance by the band of 2022!
Wet Leg are a total delight.
Be sure to bookmark this to watch it again and again.
First thing when I looked at Rhian is with the "wet look" hair she looks like Kim Deal out of the Breeders.
First time I watched Wet Leg on UA-cam the algorithm offered up the Breeders, Pixies, and Sonic Youth. sweet.
Exactly my thought!
First thing I noticed too!
Hehe
Yeah!
Spot on! Especially like Kim with the early Pixies days with her ever present smile and sheer enjoyment of playing music
supermarket sounds like it's straight off of a Pavement album. Cracking
Great sound !

I'm in love! Great to see music is in safe hands 🖐👋
Definitely have a presence on stage. Great tunes too. Supermarket is pure blur lol
Hahaha, this must have been a weird experience for them without the crowd going "What!" together.
They killed it in this set. Amazing rendition of these songs, it must be the best performance of "Wet Dream" I've listened to yet
Is it strange that i am a retired 58 year old jamming to this lol
Retired 65 year old letter carrier for USPS w 34 yrs civil service NALC local #648 AFL CIO Annapolis Maryland ❄️🤣👌❄️🌎❄️
yes, that's very strange! 55 is the cutoff... luckily i'm 55. lol.

Dank u. Ik vond dit filmpje geweldig.
Waaaannnnzinnig goed!
Thank God music is not dead.
Didn't know the lead singer played guitar also , there definitely a talented young band , . Great lyrics
Barely 😂😂😂
Badass set!
One word: Fun!
(Oh wait! 3?)
Dolf Jansen heeft een plek die kost waarschijnlijk € 20.000,00. Dan gaat ie met zijn rug naar Wet Leg toezitten! 🤣🤣
10:10 and I'm melting.
♥️♥️
Ssssmmmmokin!
Kijk dit is nou muziek.
This must be Kim Deal's daughter 😁!
Grumpy Rhian... makes for really gritty and punchy vocals but less smiles and twirling...
So do you want Smiles or more moody songs?...
+1 for Smiles
Don’t tell us we need to smile more. We don’t exist for your pleasure.
Cheer up Frog.

Nah. I saw them recently in Dallas with Courtney Barnett and Indigo De Souza, and the ticket was around $30.
I saw them in Washington DC for $40 ❄️🌎❄️
Wow juvenile garage punk is this where the state of music is these days! Sad 😥
