BEST SOUND EVER…. OH. MY. GOD. I never thought an A350 would sound like that! Usually I hear A350’s with a gentle roar (something like a A330neo or LEAP 1A Roar). But I never knew an A350… the worlds most quiet and advanced aircraft, sounded LIKE THIS! Imagine 4 of these on the future Airbus A380neo… that would be cavernous to hear!! The quote here: Aircraft will always sound 10x BETTER IN THE RAIN!
I love the A350 for many different reasons, but its deep engine growl when you're up in front is by far its best quality. Thanks for watching my friend! I'm glad you enjoyed this one.
Great stuff Skylite! You finally got a flight on Japan Airlines. I always see them on your flight videos out of Honolulu. This is warming me up for my long haul flight to Doha with Qatar Airways this Thursday.
I hope you have a great flight my friend! Unlike last year's around the world trip, Qatar Airways isn't making an appearance on my trip, but I sure did enjoy flying on them last year.
Another beautiful sharing adventure travel trip reports and as always beautiful upload and share ! .. and super awesome super amazing captured camera work looks super sharp and clear ! .. thanks again my friend ! ..
At 19:14 the runway identifier in the distance (under the wing) backlight comes on. Small stuff that one notices lol. Also, for an avgeek, few things more pleasurable than hearing the roar of a departing jetliner ahead of you while waiting for takeoff. Of course in this video, the engine blades' sound is definitely an added bonus! To me it sounds more like a big air compressor, but fully agreed it sounds amazing.
34:40 oh yeah ☺️😁 My favorite lady in the Skies @ A350 ♥️ Wonderful trip report, the only thing what i want to " change" is the Japan / JAL airways livery, so much rich and proud culture of Japan, why not in their livery?? Maybe with a beautiful big crane bird with behind The rising sun with some Japanese spirit words and some cherry blossom... 🥰❤️ but ok that's me 😉
Yes, my first trip in 2025 is all planned. It has 27 flights and will actually require me to get a vaccine ahead of time that most people wouldn't need 🤔.
As much as I love the A350, this would've been more cool had it still been a wingletless 747-400D. Maybe even one of the Pokemon ones. I know those were ANA, but still. Those would've been fun to fly on.
@@joshuadominictoling5310 no, their A350-900's are configured in an economy heavy configuration and JAL uses them only for domestic Japan flights. You'd have to look for one of their A350-1000's in the US or Australia.
And there he goes on the next leg of his Amazing Race around the world!! Wow. You can see how well run airports are in Japan. I'm relieved that you didn't have to deal with a huge green Gargantua stomping on the tarmac. :) Wow. We have heavy fog here today. We're getting the fog that we didn't get in October this year. It was so heavy that at 12 Noon, it was REALLY dark outside. I got photos of it and posted them on my FB page. Anyhow, another fine installment of your exciting Race around the world. Remember about the time dilation on these flights.
@@sla31 Rain is forecast for Friday, so yes, the high pressure fog will clear up by then. In the meantime, we have another densely foggy morning today. We're now over 7 inches under budget for 2024 and we're also under budget since October 1st. We're still on tap for a La Nina winter which means we're going to get absolutely clobbered somewhere down the road. Back in December 1985, we had a huge, persistent temperature inversion giving us fog with a high of about 40 degrees each day. But a half mile above us, it was 25-30 degrees warmer, where it was beautifully sunny up in the mountains and 70 degrees, while it was cold, dark and very foggy down in the lowlands. It was literally T-shirt weather up in the mountains. This caused massive flight delays at Sea-Tac where people were stranded for up to 4 days and many never made it to Grandma's for Christmas at all. The fog ruined a lot of peoples' X-Mas holiday plans. But this created a very rare effect on the mountains. The weeks of 65-70 degree weather melted nearly all of the snow and they looked exactly like they would in August with very little snow on them. I got pictures of this, which I still have stored away somewhere. This was something that was just about unheard of for late December. This was all because we got hit with a big snowstorm in November of that year, bringing us down to 10 degrees and lasting a week, giving us a White T-Day. Then, warm air moved in over the super-cold ground and whoosh, all of the heavy fog that lasted for weeks. It also created a big smog problem with the lid locked on tight by the much warm air above us.
Not that I know of, but I'll admit that I am not sure. I flew in and out of HND several more times on this trip and we used this runway again for another departure, but the others arrivals and departures were all on the runways much closer to the terminals.
No HND runways are currently closed, I live in Tokyo. HND runway use is on a set plan. In the E/SE wind plan, runway 05 (the 'pontoon' runway) is primary for any southbound domestic departures. Northbound departures can also use 16L and 16R when traffic conditions allow. Heavy international departures use only 16L.
Rough seas indeed. I don't remember what its name was, but the weather around Okinawa here was the extreme outer bands of a hurricane that was south of the island. It rained A LOT after I arrived and through the night. It had cleared up considerably by morning though as the hurricane was moving away from the island towards Taiwan.
Haha, well I just might do that if I had to do that. I can deal with my own child's dirty diapers, but someone else's... I might not make it though haha.

Love the view at 3:40. A350 wings are even more gorgeous than the 777 head on
I agree. The A350 is a very beautiful aircraft. Thanks for watching my friend!
Wow, Great Video! 👍👍
Wonderfully done!

Ah yes, the modern Japanese 747D

Nice takeoff SP good job 👍

I've never been to a country that is cleaner the Japan! I swear their sewer system is probably cleaner than some of the streets in the world!
I love it
Although I prefer Boeing over Airbus, I will say the A350 is a nice aircraft, but the 787 is better! JUST KIDDING! Both are great😄
Careful... Those are fighting words around here... 😂

I'm sure there is. I wouldn't be able to tell you where though.
Had a dream about you on a flight. The mother looked at you and said do you mind if u change her diaper. You asked is ok If I throw up all over you.
Haha, well I just might do that if I had to do that. I can deal with my own child's dirty diapers, but someone else's... I might not make it though haha.
