Yeah, I feel that about missing a nice order and not being able to recover. Yesterday(Monday), I was going through since 7 am. Had a few decent 18.00 dollar Kroger orders. Made it to the Costco drop, didn't see anything good, but as I'm Platinum, wanted to get my numbers up for Diamond. So I took a triple with fairly light items for Costco. I had to do a few things in-between, but got back to Kroger about an hour later during heavy rain showers. I see an 85 triple come up on my screen with good milage only about 6. I swiped it but it didn't register my first touch, so it got to the three dots once or twice but got swiped up before it could load. I was upset the rest of the day as I would have had 150 for the day which is my goal for whole days and I would have made that around 2 pm. Didn't see much else after that. Had a decent 20, but couldn't make up what I lost. I guess it's only fair as I had a really good Saturday for my area. A lot of 30's and late 20's for low milage; even got an add on at my favorite store for only a mile more for 25(I've not seen an add-on since 2021, at least one that's not garbage). So I made about 200 that day for about 5 active hours. I have seen bigger orders than I have in a long time. Been able to snag a 75 and 60's and 50's, even a hundred double store a month ago. So I'm not saying I haven't had good orders recently, just really deflates you and ruins the whole day when you see a good order and you are so close and it's gone. Hopefully something better later. You and Bellpeppa keep me motivated though, so thanks and always makes me smile when you have good days.
@Gig_DollarMan I'm happy for you it's working out. I respect that for you. For some it's remembering how we got the notice about the order but never saw the order. Some people are in good market battling with bots and some people are in good market not battling with bots. We don't know which is the case with your market.
The recovery process after missing a good order over $50 is insane. I’ve waited over an hour for another decent batch after missing an order over $50 because I know my worth and I will not drive around for less than 50.
I cant make over 120 on insta in canada. Too many of these drivers blind sweep and the company takes advantage of this and hardly pays. Thats why i hardly use instacart anymore.
I used to never get fomo when missing something. But now if I miss even a $30 it's like the algo decides that I didn't want to work or something and won't send me something for hours! I am so tired of staring at my phone. AND it's not that I am missing these batches, there are some bots involved as well.

And my market is so oversaturated that if you are not sitting at a specific store to get orders from that specific store you will not see orders at all from any store you have to be sitting at a specific store and only taking orders from that specific store even at that u gotta be lucky to get a batch.

Normally a program you download on an android. Can input parameters for certain batch requirements ie pay amount, item count, store, distance and the program can grab the batch faster than a human is able to. The software programmer will charge a monthly subscription which is normally an outrageous amount and you will risk being deactivated. In the end only winners are the programmers taking your money.
Back in 2020/21 the rating really did impact the order availability for us, now it doesn’t really make a difference to be honest. At least not in my case and not for other shoppers I know either! It could be a coincidence of your area being slower the last few days, not necessarily because of your rating dropping! I hope it gets better for you!
