i liked the way the content was presented, everyone knows what melee is but not many know its history, its community should be a case study on how dedicated its fanbase is to the esport and how its scene is probably at its best point narrativewise despite the 23 years since the game release. this video introduced me to your channel, keep up the good content.
Wow, I appreciate the well thought out response to my video. I agree on how the community should be a case study. Being in it from the beginning and coming back again to it, I really feel at "home" when playing Melee. I appreciate the kind words and hope to deliver just as good or better content in the future!
Not a bad video (and the first I have seen from you). Personally, I got confused whether you were talking about Smash as a series or just Melee. You would show non-Melee scenes but say Melee. I would keep the videos (and songs/noises) from their respective titles to keep a better flow going and aid in clarity. In addition, I personally did not find the moving of locations to really add anything to the video, and I know that they add a lot of time in creation, so you may want to consider showing more gameplay or news articles, etc. to splice the video together. Just some thoughts to hopefully help you grow.
yeah halo's a party game and so is league, and SF, and every other hardcore competitive videogame. At the end of the day videogames are games, people pull them out at parties, and some people get really really heckin' good at them. Same story as with sportsball.
i love it when small creators make some of the best documentaries ive ever seen, hope that more people see this. Keep it up :)
Bro, you just hit me right in the feels! 😭

This doesn’t matter at all but you misspelled Masahiro Sakurai in the tags.
Fixed, thanks for the observation!

Party game is a dumb made up genre. If I play Halo at a lan party that makes it a party game right?
The words were directly from the creator of Smash Bros himself. He wanted to create a "fun party game"
