@@kostas6697 I had the opportunity to see some gameplay about RDR 2 and honestly it looks the same of GTA 5 in terms of ragdoll (i cannot tell the same for cars since RDR 2 doesn't have cars ahaha) and since GTA 5's physich is not so good (imo) i don't think that it can beat GTA 4's car handling/physich.
Trust me, i'm a big fan of every GTA but GTA 5 (in car damages, physich and ragdolls) cannot beat GTA 4 since in GTA 5, if you damage a car extremely, the middle of the car will never get deformed, only its front and rear, but in the middle doesn't get deformed due to the first person that i really hope they will remove in the next GTA since it just ruined the entire gameplay and it's not even considered anymore, except for PvPs.
Yeah, because when you get hit by a car you hang on for dear life. That definitely happens.
@@soopaswoffagus In real life a car should deform as much as possible to avoid that people inside hit their head too hard. The car should be as elastic as possible, the less the car deforms and the less protection it will give to the passengers. Look the 80's cars, they was made with 100% iron that doesn't deform so easily, infact in a car crash with that cars you probably hit the windows very hard with your head.
Imagine when you drop your phone to the ground: to avoid that it break on the floor you try to hit that with your foot to make it slide on the ground, in this way you've reduced the impact, so GTA 4 had the most realistic car crash in hystory. (Beam NG is ofcourse better, but i'm talking about the GTA series)

Well, the PS3 version of GTAIV is even worse, because:
-The game renders at only 640p
-Gets laggy at some instances
-PS3 is hard to develop for
-If you use HDMI or play at HD resolution, the graphics downside can be seen everywhere

@@TacticalNudes I’ve seen the xbox version and it made me miss my PS3 really bad because it was WAT BETTER and there’s many reasons why and a major one is that the disc does not scratch, second multiplayer is free and there’s many more like whenever you shake a little bit the controller it will turn off. PS3 was definitely the superior no question asked.
"Realism" and "maturity" are two of the most soul-crushing words ever. Modern games are the worst.

@@timepasshandle phones are evolving right now you know that?there are multiple phones that can have upto 128gb ROM that means it can have 4 up to 8 GB of ram ..they just need to remaster and optimize GTA IV for it to work on mobiles...also try searching high graphic games on android ,they are close to PC...probably best example is fortnite

IV has an impeccable cozy dark atmosphere, with a profound, compelling and meaningful storyline, the thing I particularly hate about is the poor optimization, using the commandline.txt is a great way to fractionally boost fps though.
the fact that there was no country side area, less weapons, small amount of ammo (can't have fun with my rpg too long...!)

No one can deny that GTA 4 has a powerful story. The choices, the fates, the moral code, Niko's dark past and an uncertain future. Probably the best GTA story.

I feel this was done by Rockstar deliberately, because Liberty City is supposed to be a dark and desolate place. And we have seen this in GTA 3 too. And also, maybe Rockstar did this as they were not sure about pushing the engine with beautiful and colorful graphics as they first wanted to know what they could do, like in GTA 3. That game looks hella dull. [If I am wrong, please forgive me]
A big part of it, it's the backgroung story about Niko Belic, this is a mature drama about a guy with a f*cking loneliness and also trying to start again, everything in this story is dark, gray, somber,
aesthetically talking. But not only you have that perception about this great game.

The difference was gta 3 still have a color even the atmosphere is dark meanwhile in gta 4 lc was the only island that survive and still can inhabited in a apocalyptic world

*2:00** - about performance.* I know that my PC (i7 6700, GTX 980) make weird things with smothness in GTA IV even in 1080p in not highest setting. As you know last week we had nice "discount" for GTA V and I "bought" this game. I checked max settings (without any MSAA etc) in 1440p and waiting for about 30 fps (newer than IV, older PC, you know)... but works much smoother than GTA IV, mainly near 60 fps.

@@priyanshunirala3424 Im just saying, in update in 2018 they removed a lot of songs from the game and haven't improved optimisation at all, things they could have easily do if they wanted to, so I just dont feel this game is worth that much money anymore. I do however think GTA V or RDR2 are worth buying due to being better optimisted and are still supported by devs. I just dont see a reason to why pay for something if you have no more benefit from it than you would have for free.

The biggest problem about optimization has occurs because shadows. To fix the problem, just close the shadows of game in settings menu. I was playing smoothly with this method.
For me San Andreas graphics are itself wonderful... Haha, you need a good sense of taste for looking into it....

@@clashoclan3371 first of all i didnt say that i hate gta 4 and 4. and im not a mobile gamer, i own a ps2. i have played gta 5 on xbox. im not against gta 4 and 5, its just that i like san andreas more coz i grew up with that game, it has blended with my life since childhood and so sentiments and nostalgia gives me a great feeling. anyway we all have opinions right?

Good video, but most of these negative points are related to a side effect of realism, Rockstar North made GTA IV extremely realistic, the lack of tattoos was to fit Niko's personality, however for haircuts you can actually change Niko's haircut using mods, the game has 3 haircuts for Niko, a Jimmy Hopkins looking one, default one and thhe one shown in Beta screenshots.
A similar case occured with Johnny Klebitz from The Lost and Damned he was meant to have the ability to purchase clothes but it didn't fit his personality to be wearing track suit in important gang meetings.
This however changed and I think R* thought it's better to have an option to change clothes and get haircuts, which is why they went full Saints Row style in GTA 5.
For safehouses it was also meant to reflect the Cousins Bellic poor financial status in the beginning, if not we would have people making fun of how Roman is living in a small appartement while Niko has a penthouse in Alderney.
Speaking of Roman, I completely disagree with saying he's hated, the reason being that (SPOILERS AHEAD) most players chose revenge ending instead of the deal, people found it'd be less harmful to sacrifice Kate that Roman, I honestly cannot sit through those final cutscenes, the deal ending is like mental torture to me.
It really hurts that one of the vest game ever is terribly optimised like that to the point when I constantly check for "fix lag gta iv" lol.

most things on your list here is what makes me love GTA4. i love the darker/greyish graphics and realism same reason i dont like gta5, also switching between characters in the storyline and weak story made me lose interest quickly). the few safehouses isn't a problem at all, the map isn't that big so it wont take long to reach them also when you die you dont lose your weapons like in gta sa. the lack of features doesnt bother me at all since i never did them in SA either. the thing i hated most about SA was carl going hungry and losing health whilst roaming about the countryside.
i also dont see why anyone would want a mobile version. playing games on mobile is just horrible in my opinion.

I have a Dell computer with dual core intel HD (it’s that old that’s what the video card is) 2.44ghz and 4GB ram and I get 60 FPS on high texture settings very high reflection resolution low water quality and no shadows, shadows just murder performance.

Jizzy, I am a big fan of yours but I think that the first point was incorrect as GTA 4 was the introduction to HD era of GTA games
yeah, My I7 8gb ram Laptop, just gave me 20-25 fps, Meanwhile My friend Ps3 Is running is smoothly, I even tryed ti play on 800x640, It wasn't lagging but the game was looking like shit

I tested this game 2.2ghz i3 with 4gb ram and 1gb vram and it worked.... Because the original version has lags but the other version on some sites and youtube channels has optimized it and provided a patch for it.

Hey, Jizzy. I understand that GTA 4 is unable to play on mobile devices. Because, only few mobile devices have matched requirement specs of GTA 4. But can u xplain why GTA: Vice City Stories is 4 PSP and Gold Emulator? Why it not released 4 mobile devices? The requirements also match.

I really hated cars and bikes handling physics in this game. I had a lot of trouble in gaining control of bike during completion of Unique Stunt Jumps. Moreover, you have to sacrifice your speed in order to turn effectively which is risk taking during cop chases while you can't even drift.
9:49 and if you have any problems with GTA being "TOO REALISTIC", Then don't play these GTA games in the first place!

Only 2 things I hate about GTA 4 are
Lack of parachutes after jumping from helicopter you just fall and die (they added that in tbogt)
And the lack of countryside

If you talking about the graphics......yes, it's really dark, like the whole Liberty city has been covered with smog (even the vehicles look like they covered in dust, no matter how bright the color was). Less color, less attractive, and darker story. Good job! Keep going!
