South Pas is small town America in the middle of Los Angeles. I was fortunate to live on El Centro by the Library in the 90s

Thanks for your awesome vids on my hometown area of South Pas (as the locals call it!). I moved to Wisconsin a couple of years ago and visited the infamously cool tourist attraction House On The Rock in Spring Green, and I was blown away to find out that they display the largest collection of Baranger motion displays in the world! You could do an entire video on those incredible mechanical machines. So Pas will always be home, and it really is one of the great all-inclusive and diverse small cities in the US.

That's an interesting find there in Wisconsin, I'll have to try and check it out if I'm ever in the area. I'm honesty unfamiliar with the motion displays Baranger studios made, I'll have to look into it.

4:22 That’s an ostrich, referencing the Cawston Ostrich farm that used to be in South Pasadena. The ostrich and turtle were probably on the South Pasadena city float in the Rose Parade because it’s built under that long bridge every year
