Originally intended as a winter residence for David and Mary Gamble, the three-story Gamble House is commonly described as America's Arts and Crafts masterpiece.

I enjoy visiting the house each year. It’s perfectly preserved but is remarkably dark inside. The docents have to use flashlights to show you details inside.
