I had the amazing opportunity of talking with Mr. Miller about shampoos, etc. He is electric and knows his stuff! Wow! Happy to learn I don't have to waste money on expensive salon products anymore!

I love the Steve Miller videos. Where can we find out more about his class? Thankyou for posting.

@MooLounge This is just a program in an adult school that also teaches automotive, apparel, physical therapy assistant, and many other programs. It doesn't have a specific name as a beauty school, like Newberry, Western Academy of Beauty, or the like.

@msdancingqueen11 I agree! The conditioners never repair, they only coat the hair for cosmetic effect. The only real way to get rid of split ends is to cut them. The conditioners help the ends look healthier and make combing the hair easier, besides that they have no other use.

His whole class is free in this channel. He only goes to schools and presents to students; the same way he talks in those videos. I don't think he has a particular class, just education for students, but, he is a very nice guy, and, if you want to develop dome products of your own, he will kindly explain everything to you. I know him for a long time, and he never gets tired of explaining and answering questions. You can find him online, or just call him; you will get an answer.

Isn't it likely the case that the new products, products made after Paul Mitchell pulled his line from one lab and moved to another, would be different since after all, made after moving to the new lab, the old lab wouldn't have ever the recipe or known the method?

In my Country or at least my province the Sally Beauty Supply isn't allowed to sell the GVP products :( If I want Paul Mitchell I actually have to buy it.

If shampoo sees honey as dirt does it also see oil in oil infused shampoo as dirt? If so, would this not make the shampoo more gentle because it isn't stripping all a person's natural oils away from the hair if they have dry hair? What about jojoba infused shampoo? Jojoba is a wax ester, does shampoo see wax as dirt? If not, would the addition of jojoba help to moisturize the hair or make the shampoo a little more gentle in its cleansing ability?

I actually have a question, I have an idea that, the only way we can properly condition the hair is if the hair is properly shampooed until all gunk and oils on the cuticle layer on the hair are stripped out, ive always noticed having my hair really clean thats when the conditioner worked better each time i washed my hair does this make sense, is this really the case... ive been doing this on all my clients/friends that including textures like kinkier textures and seems to work well

Sir, my name is Amit and I am from India, Kolkata. Could you help me making great shampoo and conditioner which I can market and sell in Indian market. Pls reply me sir.

Hi Amit. Hello from California. In reality, making the shampoo and conditioner is easy, but transportation (logistics) to Kolkata, India will cost you more than you can make a profit on the products. Also, the change in temperature will discolor the product and effect the plastic bottles. The best way to do it is to find a local company that can make the shampoos and conditioners. If you like a different bottles than you have in Kolkata, you can import those from other countries around you and fill in the shampoo locally. I hope this helps you business.
      Good luck!
