Great video Zach! I’m on a RBR MCL NOR team and I’m tossing up between staying on MCL for points or dropping MCL to MER and upgrading BOT to MAG for budget. Depends just how competitive MCL look in FP I guess.
I had no negative which was was great in the end. Lando got 64 points instead of 26. Total of 267. Great point to plan to bring in Haas drivers by Monza.
In this case I would go Sargent and Magnussen as even though Sargent is a real liability Kmag is better to have than both Bottas and Zhou put together!
Hey zach! Just wanted your opinion on something, currently have LEC SAI then MER FER, (left over from Spain, I used limitless for Austria which did NOT go well), I have 2 transfers. I'm swapping LEC for NOR, but should I swap SAI for PIA, or keep 3 transfers for next race allowing me to go for a single premium driver NOR RBR MCL build?
I would still go Zhou even though he’s a had a rough few weeks! Overall he’s still the one that will qualify lower and with a bit of luck get some position gained points
Alright so instead of Norris piastri i was thinking of something like Norris/Russel or Norris/Hamilton. Should we really bet on having both the McLaren drivers? Note that piastri finished behind both Hamilton and Russel 2 or 3 times now. (I'm on 117M btw)
Yeah it’s a fair point it’s just Piastri has been getting quite unlucky by going off in Spain and Wide in Austria! If these didn’t happen he would most likely have beaten the Mercedes so for me he’s still the better option
@@zachf1417 yeah agreed, I reckon Max will win but because Norris will likely get DOTD and come second he then becomes worth more so I'll change over and see how it goes for this weekend. Struggling with budget, currently at 112.5 mil so not that flexible right now!
Thoughts on going from Nor,Pia,Zho,Sarg,Gasly,Ferr,Merc to Nor,Hulk,Zho,Mag,Gasly,Merc,RedBull/McL this would be a minus 10. Then transfer in McLaren/Red Bull in for Mercedes the following week.
Yeah sounds like a good plan as it covers the -10 it’s a shame you have to take it however in situations like that it’s ok as you will get a lot more points from the team you move to

I would go with Piastri for Hamilton as even though Hamilton has a chance with DOTD I think unless we see something crazy in FP then Mercedes still aren’t fast enough for P1 and P2 in a normal race but both McLaren seem to be up for it when they aren’t getting unlucky!

Which Mercedes driver, either HAM or RUS from NOR would be a better proposition @ Silverstone this week? Have FER, MER with NOR and want to switch to MCL, MER with either HAM or RUS.
I just hate how I have fallen from 19k to almost 80k now in 3/4 races… I had almost the same team as you now, but lets hope for a better result in silverstone:)
So budget building wise the top things to bring in would be 100% Mercedes, Gasly, Albon, Piastri, Stroll, Kmag I think are all the strongest options for moving up in value! Most likely won’t be able to have all of them in your team but if you can have a few then you will be doing well budget wise!
Why does Norris have Race Positions Lost -18 instead of DNF -20 for Austria? Everyone else who crashed out at any previous race, no matter the lap, got -20
I would go with Albon over Zhou he’s been performing very well f1 fantasy wise the last few weeks when he hasn’t been getting unlucky with so collisions
Very surprised that Albon is picked as much as he is. Funnily enough, Sargent has outscored Albon fantasy wise (All be it by the thinnest possible margin)
Albon has been the better driver this year, just gotten very unfortunate in a couple races. You can’t really predict DNF’s in a race, especially when they are out of the driver’s control.
Do you really think a RBR + MCL + NOR + GAS lineup will outscored a MCL + MER + NOR + PIA lineup? Do you expect RBR to be so much better then MER despite Perez struggling so much?
With these teams I 100% think the Mercedes/Mclaren team is the better option IF you can afford that’s the issue as I can’t right now and I think teams like Norris/Piastri with Ferrari and Mercedes aren’t good enough anymore

I’ve only got 116.8 million as the last few race weekends haven’t been favourable team value wise for me sadly and so what is the team you will have running into Silverstone is it the one still with Sargent in?

Yeah I would keep a transfers ready as moving to either Norris, RBR and MCL teams or a NOR/2nd PREMIUM DRIVER, MER AND MCL is a must now in f1 fantasy

Hey Zach, a bit stuck for which direction to go. Do I stick with max, RB and Merc or switch to lando, RB and McLaren?
I would go with Norris RB and MCL purely because MCL look like joint best constructor and could get a lot more points than Mercedes which will add up!

I would go with Hamilton as he normally does really well around Silverstone however wait until practise and see who looks better!

No I wouldn’t do this as Albon will most likely get 5-15 points and Sargent 0-5 points so there isn’t enough of an incentive to move over with the -10

Bottas and Albon I would go for there’s more room for budget growth and none of Sargents antics!!!
