I have commented on a lot of your videos . I have to tell you that I watch a lot of harmonica tutorials and they are all British and all very good! But you are on a whole different planet dude lol!! Frickin Amazing! Please keep sharing your expertise with the rest of us ! Thanks
Holy shit brother, I got to a point in my playing that I pretty much stopped watching tutorials and youtube stuff completely so I haven' t really ever seen any of your stuff. Fucking blown away, SUBBED SON!! ;)
Can believe I have just now stumbled across your channel. You an awesome player and teacher. Should have more views and viral videos. Definitely #1 in my honest opinion.
Thanks for passing on your knowledge ...Your making a big difference on promoting the harmonica...You show what the instrument is capable of....Sonny Terry next? Can't wait....What a series you've begun
Great job, Will. I was a guest on King Biscuit Time on KFFA on Sept 23rd. I worked there back in the early 70s and actually hosted the show a few times. As you know, the show always starts with a Sonny Boy number. On this particular day it was Ninety Nine. I'm now going to try to learn the harp.
Thanks Will, nice one, very helpful. I mainly play rack, as I play guitar in my band, but getting back to basics this evening and enjoying just holding the harp again.
Hi, Will, great job, you saved me the work to go find these licks, listen to them over and over, then find them on the harp. Thanks! Just a comment for compleition on the lick 4. The notes you play are correct but what Sonny Boy is doing is tongue-slaping most of them, which gives the real punch to the lick. It can be clearly heard in the extract you play. Keep up that good work, Greetings
Will. I'm quite new to harmonica. Only a few months now. Very much enjoying it! I've been watching some of your UA-cam videos and am very impressed! They have been helpful. Thanks for posting your skills. -Todd from Utah.
Hey will just started following you about a month ago, I think your a great teacher, the best ive seen .can you tell me the key of the first lick of sonnboy
Love your vids, so thank you for putting them out there, really appreciate it. How about some George 'Harmonica' Smith licks? Or William Clarke? Or I'd love you to workshop 'Steady' by Jerry McCain, esp the high-register bit near the end!
Always a great lesson...thanks. You don't seem to have done any Butterfield lessons. Is there any chance that you would do a lesson on the solo in 'one more heartache'? I have been banging away at it for a while, but it continues to beat me into submission.....I am bowed.. but not beaten....
Thanks Will, I'm learning tonnes from ur vids. How about James Cotton style licks, like in Muddy Waters "Hard Again " album, crosseyed cat etc. thanks again.
Hi Will. Loving all this! But on your ending lick, you're saying blow 6, blow 5. I didn't catch the key but trying the Bb. Sounds better as DRAW 6 blow 5. What an I doing wrong please. I love his stuff and style, and your teaching too. Please and thank you!!
Man, I have been wanting an F harp for so long. Can't really get one right now as Hot Metal harps; which used to be cheap because they were undependable are now getting really expensive because they have great sound (one out of three you don't have to mess with) but if you get the right one they have really great sound. And I guess rich people have picked up on that so the rest of us are out of luck.

+StreetFightingMan1967 Thanks. That's a good idea, I might do Sonny Terry next...
Hi will can you tab when the levee breaks?
Awesome series! Can you show us how to play like Sonny Boy when he puts the harp in his mouth like a cigar and plays while he snaps his fingers?
Awesome Video, I know they've already been mentioned but, James Cotton, Paul Butterfield and Sonny Terry would be great. Also Jr. Wells.
