Great video! Nice finds on the Jaco, T. Rex single and Funkadelic. You can't go wrong with any Funkadelic record....they are all great. I am personally looking to find America Eats Its Young from 1972. I've seen one in the wild once and it only had one record in it (it's a double) I didn't buy it and I wish I would have. I hope you keep making videos you do a great job. I like the KISS pez too!

In the early 1970's I hardly listened to soul music more so women soul singers, I was really in hard rock music. But over the years I started enjoying different types of genres of music 🎶, thanks for sharing Ann Peebles I need to look more into her music. I didn't know that Inga Rumpf had another band. I used to listen to her in the band "Frumpy" in 1970 - 1973. Thanks to you I need the check out the band Atlantis. Looking forward to watching your next music video . Mahalo Ed

It's great to see another collector getting into the old Chinese pop music! I've been collecting records by Taiwanese artists (with versions released in Singapore and Malaysia), often backed by The Stylers, for about 6 years now but still only have a few as they're so difficult to find in good condition. The one you have is written in Chinese, and sung in Mandarin. There are a few crazy songs from the time sung in Cantonese but they're mostly songs from movies, rather than straight "pop". Have a look for versions of the song 水长流 (Water Flows), there are so many! Also, "Zhi Yao Wei Ni Huo Yi Tian", by You Ya. I think you might like that one🙂

By the way, you just showed an oddball record I thought nobody in the VC had but me: EVERYDAY PEOPLE, Something I found in a box of records at my parents' antique store when I was a kid. EVERYDAY PEOPLE was produced by Terry Brown (who went on to work with RUSH). Bruce Wheaton, their front man, has a UA-cam channel with a couple old videos of the band including a cool song that's not on the record. There was also an american R&B band called 'The Everyday People' (on Kool and the Gang's DeLite label) who covered Canadian Everyday People's 'I Like What I Like', just to make things more confusing lol. I wish guys would stop making *any* comments at all on women's appearance. It's frustrating enough to have to deal with mansplaining when it comes to vinyl collecting. I get that a lot and find it so irritating. But glad to see you're calling out the misogyny and are back making videos! It's about the vinyl and collecting, not what a woman chooses to wear. Definitely go see George Clinton, a few years ago he played at the music festival in my home town here in Caloundra Qld Australia and I was telling everyone who'd listen to go and check him out, the casual music fan there had no idea what they were missing out on if they didn't.
