Hey aquarium coop! I’m setting up my aquarium (20 gallon high) and I’m trying to figure at the placement of my HOB filter. I heard on many forums you should put it in the middle, but then others say I should put it in the corner.
If possible I'd love to get some more details on that setup. What size tank? What canister filter? (It appeared awfully small to me but I don't question Dean's expertise.) What light? I'm curious what a "pro" uses.
This is amazing! Dean is such a loving and passionate guy, to do this for Lizzie and Jimmy since they can only have small tanks in their new home. This video made my day!
Thanks for Introducing us to Lizzie in person. She was really helpful on the forum with a question I had regarding volunteer shrimp - they were Scuds! Thank you to you all for being such great support!
I would love to see a 10 minute video of different shots of this tank with the ember tetras set to some relaxing music. It is a beautiful tank and definitely one worth gazing at for at least 10 minutes.
Lizzie's got some serious aquascaping skills. I think that tank came out so beautifully. Hopefully, Dean is really enjoying staring at it when he has some down time. I love how Dean just has everything he could possibly need for a new tank stored somewhere and he's had it for decades. Lol. Jimmy, you gotta share those nano tanks you and Lizzie have running when you get a chance. They look amazing! There is definitely a subculture in the aquarium world of people who only keep nano tanks. Usually they do some amazing things with small areas and tiny tanks. Would love to see more of that.
Can you guys put together videos that are just video of the prettiest tanks? A 20min video of this tank would be the most relaxing thing ever to watch... and dang easy to make.
I love how you guys did this video with the cinematic features and slow motion release 😍 And it’s always great to see Cory in the videos! You guys are all individually bright, intelligent and amazing! You’re so loved and appreciated and you’re changing the world day by day with your spontaneous ideas! Thank you Aquarium COOP, and Welcome LIZZY!
Really sweet. It seems like y'all treat each other like family. This is also a beautiful example of what a large school of single species can look like in a big tank, as opposed to the aquatic Noah's ark approach so many folks are tempted to take.
Whoa, that tank is so pretty that my eyes started hurting! Magnificient job with the scape Lizzy, excellent cam/edit Jimmy and so fun to see Dean with his enthusiasm, wit and deep knowledge! Thanks a lot!
God, the video editing, sound, cast chemistry, content and subjects are always so damn good in Aquairum Coop, best youtube channel. The passion and production are both insane.
Really liked this video! One thing I love about the Co-op is the commaraderae that they foster - Only thing I would change about this video is to have a longer cinematic at the end. I could just look at this tank all day!

Love the Lizzie magic and the Jimmy videography to show the transition. They both dropped the mic on this one.
Jimmy / Dean,
Can we please get a long shot of the tank? Perhaps a few hour recording of the fishes swimming / schooling to play in the background?
Lizzie is very talented. Dean is so organized. Love ember tetras.

BEAUTIFUL! I'd love to see more of those those little tanks in Lizzie's apartment too, they looked really nice.
Videos when you're setting up cool aquariums are the best. I miss that kind of stuff
Very talented aquascaper, and a video with Jimmy, Dean and Corey can't be anything less than great👍
Really sweet. It seems like y'all treat each other like family. This is also a beautiful example of what a large school of single species can look like in a big tank, as opposed to the aquatic Noah's ark approach so many folks are tempted to take.
Need to get Lizzie and Jimmy a bigger house. Shout out to Dean for letting them scape a tank.

Dean seems like an amazing guy to know!
Stunning aqua scape! This would be a wonderful sit and stare tank. I would love a video on how the background was created.
Really liked this video! One thing I love about the Co-op is the commaraderae that they foster - Only thing I would change about this video is to have a longer cinematic at the end. I could just look at this tank all day!
That tank is balling out of control. And the blue background works really well!
I am not sure if that's a vinyl or some sort of life that emulates sunsets and blue skies etc...
@@247Metal regardless, looks dope!
What an amazing setup! Great to see Dean rummaging through decades of cool fish gear to find the perfect thing! :D
What's more fun than Scaping tanks with DEAN and the ACO Team?!!

Aquarium co-op is the best for the hobby.
Nice work! Love the idea of having « carte blanche » on that size of a tank! Nicely done! A great addition to Dean’s fish room!
75's are some of the best tanks all around for scaping. That footprint!
What are the dimensions on that tank? With the wide angle lens of the camera used I couldn't tell.
@@DrewLoika for a 75: 48" x 18" x 21"
Thanks!
Wow this is awesome! I love seeing people set up tanks and stock them! I wish you did more videos like this!
I miss these kinds of videos from you it feels like it has been a very long time since we saw an aquarium build video
I love every time we get to see Dean’s place.
Cherry barbs and panda corydoras with maybe some type of dwarf loaches would look amazing in the tank.
