mine broke in flooding after hurricane Ike. I dont remember needing to take off the outer trim piece to put the camera wire in. I wired mine below door jams. This is probably why it failed in flood.

@@BrokeInCalifornia Sorry was not specific. Car still runs. The rear camera I installed stopped working. Too lazy to go back in and trying to fix it or change it out.

Why not connect the camera power wire to the accessory wire running into the connector at the back of the radio as part of the body wire harness ?
Just be careful not to confuse with the battery wire also running into the radio at the same connector.

Robert!! I know I was looking for that wire behind the radio… maybe I missed it but I did look for and wasn’t successful so I removed that part out of the video.
