You have helped me on my hair journey, I know have hair to my lower back (I cut it about 3 weeks ago) and it's thicker than ever!!!!!!!
Also, as a young child (under 13) I have paranoia that everything I do is a mistake. I'm so afraid that I can't make people proud of me. Then, I feel guilt because I have a nice house, wonderful family, and food, and then I think I'm ungrateful. I'm also in a sad place because the war between Russia and Ukraine reminded me that humans can be so violent.
I'm not sure how to deal with it, but watching your videos calm me down, just for a little bit.
    Thank you.

      Hey dear,
as you are so young I hope that you have someone like a parent or trusted family figure or so you can talk to. Please now that you are not alone and that it is not your burden. You are so young, be gentle with yourself. It is great to be aware of one's own privileges but don't be too hard on yourself.
What is helping me when worrying is to focus on my breath and talk about it with people I trust. Maybe this can help you as well.

As a Holistic Master Esthetician of almost 4 decades, a face mask that is amazing and gentle and I have my clients use is, Milk Of Magnesia I also love 6 crushed aspirin and a tablespoon of manuka honey. Yes apple cider vinegar is amazing! For the skin and hair.
Our body naturally detoxifies at night when we sleep and Milk of Magnesia helps this process so that you don’t wake up with acne. It’s also anti aging. You two cracked me up. 🙌🏻🍑🧡Lisa

Aspirin is a natural salicylic acid. This helps with thick skin, acne and aging. When mixed with manuka honey, it is very gentle.

Bentonite clay is my favorite (besides aloe vera for acne)! I just love how it clears my skin. It can be drying though which prevented me from trying on my hair. Maybe hair steaming will put moisture back in.

  • @QueenLaQueefa
    @QueenLaQueefa Рік тому

I do that same mask on my face once a week..any more than that it makes my skin too dry.
I wouldn’t try it on my hair because I can only imagine it drying it out super bad! My hair likes mild moisture, not too much, not too little…
You and your sister have beautiful hair..and more importantly, beautiful souls. 🦋🦋🦋
Something that’s helped my hair and skin is buying raw beef bones from my butcher, I’m talking femur bones with the marrow…I make bone broth with some salt and my fav herbs…it taste like the best home made chicken noodle soup broth..it’s packed with collagen and great for hair/skin/bones/joints… I do a lot of squats so this drink has helped me big time. It helps my knees not hurt.
I know your mostly plant based, but please try real bone broth made from bones. Sounds gross…but it is so good. Sometimes it’s hard to find good bones with the marrow. It’s nice to ask the butcher to cut the bones into sections so it cooks better. It has a thick layer of that fat but the fat is good for our brain and hair. Fat isn’t the enemy..in moderation is is good for us and our hormones.

Hi there! I just wanted to ask and see what you might recommend. Ive always been able to grow very long hair all the way down past my hips however I only recently discovered my hair is dry and not oily. For years I thought it was oily as my scalp would overproduce oil like a slick and I never knew why or understood the importance of hair care. Im in a bit of a bind as now im looking at my hair and every end - and i mean every end - has either a white dot or is split. Ive done natural scalp treatments and oil the ends and midsection of my hair plus leave in conditioner. I have silk pillowcases and typically secure my hair at night. I even use professional scissors to snip off the splits or white parts and my hair is still breaking there at the ends or is bent. Even when i do snip the nasty ends it still seems with a white dot or dry! My hair is almost always down and even when it is up I use safe ties. Ive been using function of beauty for years so im not sure if its my shampoo/conditioner, the water quality, or heat. I only ever blow dry my bands and the top of my head with protectants and even if not it wont be on high heat. Im at a loss and just want my hair to stay healthy, its healthy everywhere but the ends. Any recommendations for hair dry recovery would be great! Thank you

SARAH, If your sister-in-law is doing all this stuff with you, why isn't her hair as thick and long as yours??

I have really thick hair like Sarah but my cousin don't eventhough we follow same haircare routine
So it all comes down to genetics

#1 The question was not for you.
#2 If that were true than Sarah has been lying to us all along and all these hair treatments are a sham.
      3. You and you're cousin aren't doing the exact same routines that emulate Holistic Hair, nor are you doing the same hair routines as each other.
      4. You should think things out before you inject yourself into a conversation not meant for you. 😣

@@christineribone9351 The person is right though, it doesn't matter if the question was for them. It's all down to genetics and how a specific person's hair reacts to certain treatments. My hair is thicker and as long as Sarah's due to my genetics from being native American and Puerto Rican and doing rice water treatments since I was a kid, it's all about genetics and how an individual person's hair reacts to certain treatments. It's not rocket science.
