Very cool to hear Paul--a virtuoso guitarist on his own merit--describe being at Randy's Greensburg seminar as a teenager. I had the good fortune of being there too, for the 1st of 4 sessions. What Paul apparently didn't know was that Sharon was there too, & just as friendly as Randy. It's interesting to wonder if Paul's career would've ended up any different if he had mentioned his band to her instead of to Randy. For example, the novelty of having a band open for Ozzy featuring a guitarist "trained" (if only an hour) by Randy. It's also interesting that Paul recalled the novelty of hearing Randy play clean (no distortion effect). Randy seemed embarrassed & asked the store owner if he could at least borrow an equalizer to sound a little more like a real rock guitarist. 😂

I posted a few questions yesterday but we're never addressed by you, guess you couldn't see all the posts or had too many people posting comments. Duncan got Lucky getting your attention.
Btw, I don't have Instagram or Twitter or Facebook, just here.

I did check him out but please tell me what you're talking about because I'm not sure what you mean. He's a fabulous player!!

The unique thing with Brett is that he angles the slide to play triads and stuff 'cause he plays in standard tuning as well.
